This. Solar hits are awesome. Just careful ya don't give yourself a teeny little sunburn.
Also, another vote here for the Volcano. I love them. Helps lessen the load on the lungs and I actually like the bag because I can carry it around places without worrying about dropping a nice pipe or spilling the bong.

That's just false. No, it doesn't burn anything. The Volcano is not capable of burning weed. The highest temperature you can set it to is still not high enough to cause plant matter to combust. Even with the temp set all the way up, the weed turns brown. It does not turn to ash whatsoever.
Many people prefer it around 6-7 on the dial instead of 9 (all the way up). Sometimes I use it around 6-7. Sometimes I use it around 9. With the temp at 6-7 it's very smooth with an awesome taste and doesn't make me cough at all. With it at 9, the vapor is thicker and hits you harder, but you could just do MORE bags at 6-7 instead. I just sometimes want that extra kick you get with it all the way up because of my high tolerance. You will cough from it at 9 though because the vapor is thicker and somewhat hot... It's still nowhere near as harsh as breathing in smoke though, and I've noticed a huge improvement in my lungs/breathing after not smoking (and only vaping) for about 4-5 months.I feel way healthier and don't ever cough in the mornings or get sick as often as I used to. I think it's just all around much better than smoking.

According to Storz & Bickel who make the Volcano, the max temp is 439F with a range of +/-5 degrees, which means it can get to 445F.

So the Volcano gets to 445F and combustion occurred at 446F, while toxins began to show up at 392F?
OK so maybe the Volcano won't reach full combustion, but that 1 degree leaves lots of leeway for error. And if toxins begin to appear at 392F, it kind of defeats the health aspect of vaporization to turn up your Volcano all the way. Smoke is smoke, even if it comes from a vaporizer. Sorry to bust your bubble.
i have no proof for this, but I am very convinced that the more sleepy and stoney components don't vaporize if you keep the temp closer to 300F

I think you could get actual combustion if you try hard enough with a cano or EQ. I can tell by the taste that I am vaping some more nasties if I have the temp up higher. I leave my EQ on 195C

The term of 'combustion' in the vape world is also subjective. Normally when we refer to 'combustion' we are referring to the point of where your herb begins to release the benzines and COs. Yes, I have had my shit cherry on me and make smoke. It sucks, its nasty and akin to something as simple as toasted bread.

combustion is an exothermic reaction. a very specific one. anything short of combustion does not produce heat.

I have been using my Extreme Q for 4 years now?? It has worked flawlessly since I bought it. After the first bag gets trashed I had a hard time trying to setup a new bag with the o'rings It just looked liked shit compared to what the first one looked like. The models out now are different them mine. I have the old model. The new model has a Nickel look and is more efficient there are some other improvements oh its quieter.
199.00 is the price for the v-tower this is not the one you want. It does not have a fan in it to blow the vape into bags or the whip.
299.00 Is the Q Extreme this is the model that has all the bells and whistles.
These prices are retail you should be able to find either one for less.

You guys with the volcanoes, I have something for you to try. Buy a two pack of turkey bags, instal one, fill you bowl to your normal amount, and vape a bag at 4.5 when able do another set at 5. For me I'm done and reload after two bags. The longer run on the bigger bags allow for lower temps, and your flavor is much better. You can do more bags at higher temps, but for me you might as well just smoke at that point, the good taste is history, but the duff has value in medibles, tinctures, and maybe fertilizer. This way may be not all that efficient, but I figure most of us are not hurting for smoke being we are at a grow forum after all....scrappy
