2 Suregrow nft tracks with a 20 gallon res
all KISS (thats Maxibloom) this time
well, maybe a little bit of this and that added to the KISS ;)

One small eco pump (66 i think) circulates the nutrient solution

No air pumps or stones
just a couple powerheads to keep the res churning

Some clones from the local dispensary

from Mosca Negra :jump::jump::jump:
3 x GRAPEFRUIT FLY

Grapefruit Fly is the result of combining a Special Grapefruit female with my proven Cinderella 99 male. Grapefruit Fly grows very fast with a semi-thick main stem which supports the branches very well. Taller, strong growing plants that are well structured that reward with high intensity lighting. Don’t be shy with Grapefruit Fly! But don’t be surprised if these ladies’ heavy buds sag under the weight of these solid colas. Great Sweet Pink Grapefruit smell, Taste, and High! An easy to grow strain that is Great for Beginners!

60-65 days Flowering
Heavy to Super Heavy Yield plants

and 1 of Mosca's:dance::dance::dance:
FIREFLY

FireFly is the result of combining my Highlife Cup Award Winning female Double Dutch female with my proven Cinderella 99 male. High Quality, heavy yields of heavenly scented herb that is personal stash or to share with close friends only! Indica pheno dominates with short bushier plants with lots of strong branches. Aroma is a beautiful combination of Skunky Pineapple and fresh tropical fruit!

60-65 days Flowering

and from the Bushy Old Grower...
i'm very excited about this one.....:jump::dance013::jump:
1 x Sour Bubble

A very unusual bubblegum derived from my BOGBubble gene pool. This is my most potent strain. SourBubble promises to be my best Medical Strain to date. Flowers in 49 - 55 days.

Its all bogbubble but each backcross male was chosen from the offspring of the previous generation and now the 3rd bx males have pollenated the clone mother once again to cube the sour bubble with the 4th bx. But that isnt the end of the work. From there we still have some way to go.

-----------------------------------------------------------

and lastly
not too sure about this one..any opinions on it???

Alien Bubba
(Pre98 Bubba X Alien Kush (Alien Tech Pheno male))
alien technology is a strain that came from a small village in Afghanistan via a USA solider, its a pure landrace strain and super frosty like "the white", is a land race afghan line , don't have a region or village name to go with it, it was a handful of beans brought back to the us . is all i can comment

Flowers in 60-70 days.
Sativa/Indica: 55%/45%.

i think this one is gonna have to find another spot to grow
im planning on replacing it with a bluebonic or blueberry
just waiting till the dispensary gets the clone

trying out some dimable quantum ballasts this round
they are set at 50% just to get started
i also have a powerbox flipbox coming to test out

Im jealous, I love the setup. NFT just looks so clean and organized, its hard not to appreciate it. Also interested in the yields you pull. Definitely packin a bowl and grabbin a chair for this one.

Day 29

Day 29

so today is day 29
4 weeks of veg completed
but of course i jacked em all up just like last time
note to self: get clones ready before putting them in tracks;
roots hate soggy rockwool cubes!!=)
so once again im where i should have been two weaks ago
oh well
greenthumb. haven’t tried the flip yet, been using dimable ballast on 50% and 75% to veg.
seems to be working fine
next run i will try the flips

here are a couple garden overviews
just on the maxibloom KISS formula and loving it
...added a little sm-90 a few times cause i love that smell,
and use some silicone additive weekly
no deficiencies and damn proper growth
haven't changed the res either yet
i think i will do it today and maybe 1 or 2 more times for the rest of the grow

picture.php

Sour bubble is the big fella in the middle. dark green with monster leaves. The Alien bubba had strong roots and got established fast. it was the redheaded stepchild at first, but i am beginning to like it.
the Moscas took a little longer to get established. they really didn’t like the soggy rw cubes. but once they got going ..... Nice light green long slender sativa structure and leaves. They all look nice now. i think today a few of them will get topped, then 2 more weeks of veg and time to flip. yeeeahhhhhaaawww!!

picture.php

Sour bubble makes ridiculously large leaves with super fat leave stems

picture.php

note: topped 3 plants today

Lookin' good, I'm very interested in seeing how this is done. I've never seen an NFT system in action....read about 'em but that's it. I'll be following it for sure.

6 weeks of veg

6 weeks of veg

i ended up having to veg these girls for 6 week due to this and than issues
they look alright though
they've gotten one good trimming so far, one more in a week or so.
sour bubble(the back row middle monster) vegged the fastest which is good cause i hear its not much on the stretch
tonight they get their first night of sleep, which will be 36 hour "shock" sleep
just running maxibloom kiss for now
they seem to like it, but i think i can't go as long without res changes on kiss??
next run is jacks pro hydro formula i've been reading about
8 weeks and i'll know how they are doing
aayayayyayayeeeyeyayyayayyeeee

fourth day of 12/12

fourth day of 12/12

four days into flower which started off with a 36 hour "shock" dark period
trying that out after reading medmans thread
general overview
nice color and everything seems happy with KISS
but i'm such a cheap ass, i have to try jacks pro hydro after this run
res temps get up to 78f so far with no issues
roots look great
h2o2 once a week; 2ml/gallon of 35%
could be a lot fuller, but i think the grapefruits might have a bit of stretch so things might fill up nicely
picture.php

they have gotten one good trim and get regular defoliation

some detail shots
with a reference ph color for my ph tester drops
i always double check my ph meter after having some isssues with it before

day 57: day 15 of flower

thanks man. i love the nft
the removable lid on the tracks rock for easy access and cleaning

2 weeks of flower done
nice and bbbooorrrrriiiiiiinnnnnngggggggggg
liking the KISS alot
and a weekly dose of H2O2
some warm days here and no chiller=no problem
alien bubba is fragile, you look at a branch wrong and it breaks off
i accidentally lost a nice top branch by trying to gently train it
opposite of sour bubble
sour bubble is like strech arm strong
you can tie it in knots if you like

Day 70; day 28 of flower

Day 70; day 28 of flower

day 28 of flower
some CRAAAAZZZZYYYY smells coming from the fly strains
pineapples and grapefruits
fricking amazing
i think one or all of my fly strains were mislabeled when i bought them.
i m guessing i got 2 of each; fire fly and grapefruit fly
i didn't clone the firefly because it didn't look like anything special in the beginning, but now they are stretching out into what might be my longest fattest colas.
and again, the smells are out of this world
sour bubble vegged the fastest for me but the very little stretch and looks like it will be a small yielder (no surprise there)
still waiting for the smells to get stronger from the sour bubble and the alien bubba
still cruising with KISS
i might have mixed it a little heavy =)
slight tip burn at 1600 ppm
trying to keep it down now

Day 81; day 39 of flower

Day 81; day 39 of flower

coming up to 6 week mark
ive been hiding in shame because of something i did to the plants
i mixed a hot batch of KISS at almost 1700 ppm(should be more like 1150-1200) by total carelessness
or possibly foliar spraying with sea-90 or a combination of both
i'm not sure what did it but something burned my tips and then to my horror fried alot of the hairs on the tops of my buds
i flushed for 2 days and then got my nutrients back to normal over another 2 day period
they are recovering, but slowly
the damage has definitely been done.
i wont know the full potential of any of these babies unless i get to run them again
i for sure will try to get ahold of firefly (smells so pineappley goooood) and sour bubble ( i think i got a decent yield pheno) again
heres some pics of the aftermath; they make me sick in my stomach
picture.php

picture.php

im gonna go crawl away to hide for a week or so now
