Can you grow a 12-16 week sativa in a cab?

I have a vertical setup with one 250W HPS cooltube. I'm sick of hybrids with sativa-'like' qualities and want the real deal.

Do you think it's possible to do a 12-to-16 week sativa in a cab like this? I'm thinking of SCROGing the fuck out of the plant and perhaps only doing 2 females at a time.

yep. just go for it, if you run into trouble, just consider it learning for the next go.

(ive only once run pure sativa though, a male (still got it for breeding purposes) but i must say with a fairly broad knowledge of training methods, i find the fear of sativas bit odd, sure quite a lot, taller plant than pure indicas, but not that terribly much over hybrids, quarter taller than my tallest hybrids so far,maybe.but easily manageable with topping at the 3rd node f.i)

you can also use 11/13 or less light, to speed up the flowering, but i doubt you will need that on a such a few week sativa as you talk about.

I just finished Panama Red in dr60 tent(2x2x5'). They got from 10-20 inches tall, no training or anything. I use LED with a lot of blue, so..... Vegged 7 weeks, but had bad ph problem, so a bit stunted I guess. Stretch was half of veg height. HPS would make em stretch more for sure. Some finished at 12 weeks and 2 at 14 weeks.

If you can get a CMH bulb or get some flouros in there, I believe it would help. Good spectrum with uv. I had a 55 watt pl-l vertical in center of plants to add uv and balance spectrum. The tropical sativas really need the equator sun to reach potential, but you can do better than HPS indoors.

Garuda here at microgrows does original haze, 4 months to flower in small cab. Uses pl-l.

of course you can, just get the essence of this thread https://www.icmag.com/ic/showthread.php?p=1209877#post1209877 and youre done (almost, need 15-20 weeks more ) in your vertical setup it should be even easier since the tips won't get burned when growing too fast

Seriously though, flowering early, and root restriction are your friend, pure sativas play by pure sativa rules, read the thread garuda posted, lots of helpful info for would be sativa growers. ppeeacee
