bump..planning dinner tonight and these look bomb, I love your directions of add most/add least and go from there. Reminds me of how my dad always gives directions "hell I don't know, little bit of this little of that, I just pick stuff off the shelf and toss it in"

OK, bad news for the unveiling of the recipe. while on the road yesterday morning I suffered a breakdown in my motorcoach as I was headed to GLTHC's crib. It was only a fanbelt but finding a mechanic to do it on a Saturday holiday weekend was tough, I waited over 4 hours for one to arrive. Of course I broke down 15 miles from 2 different cities & the wrench had to travel that distance back & forth several times trying to get a fanbelt that fit, the original belt shredded & so no readable numbers from it at all. I was stuck from 10:45am through 7:30pm, by the time I was back on the road I was fucking beat & running a belt of the proper length but 2 ribs too narrow (we replaced an 8 rib belt w/a 6 ribbed one) and so as I was only 90 miles from home I turned back instead of risking throwing the improper belt trying to finish the 480 mile round trip. me & my pup Alice tails tucked finished the trip @ a steady 55mph @ 2000rpm so as not to throw that belt at higher rpm.

I feel very badly for spoiling the plans I'd made with GLTHC & his sweet lady so I'll apologize to them again. I also feel quite badly for letting you guys down, w/some luck they'll have the time to allow me to head down to pull this off.

OK, it's on again for this weekend. just checked w/GLTHC & his schedule's clear, this time I'm just gonna tear ass the 240 miles in my ford explorer which is/has always been 100% dependable, I've not had much good luck w/the motorcoach lately.
