If you got a hold on the REAL FO cut keep her close and never lose her. I know a lot of people throwing some crazy numbers around trying to pick that clone up.

yes it's the real FO. Have those people smoked the FO? or do they just want to try it real bad?

if you BELIEVE flushing will give you smoother and better tasting buds; then you are right, and it will.

yes, I "BELIEVE" that flushing does give smoother and better tasting buds. So does a slow dry, a nice cure, and organic nutes

If you believe I couldn't tell the difference between flushed and unflushed, then you are wrong.

Have a few strains that were not flushed (but grown in organically amended soil) and an extreme head friend of mine could not tell the difference between plants that were just given plain water the last 14 days, and the ones I feed all the way up till the last 4 days...

Maybe coco is different but in soil/peat based you don't need to flush, as it wont really do anything for you. Oh yeah, they both burn clean down to light grey/white ash.

Take what you want from that.....

imo coco and soil-less(promix etc) are not soil and should not be treated as such. adding "organic" and/or even "vegan plant foods" might not play well with the medium and the other nutrients introduced. (i said that in my previous post)
for me, the key to white ash is not to over-feed from the beginning. at times, even a chemical flush (clearex) and water for 10 days does not do the trick if i fed heavy throughout. i believe that the buds are the last part of the plant to be flushed. that's why you see leaves change/lose color first. even a sick or overly fertilized plant have decent looking buds compared to its leaves.
see if you can change your nutrient regiment and/or modify it.
promix (or any peat based) is a lot more forgiving than coco. i have found that buds grown in promix using botanicare pureblend pro + additives, outperformed my coco buds using floranova bloom + bloombastic.

perhaps a completely different recipe for you coco plants? i hear good things about rez's 6/9 or the k.i.s.s method.

Earth Juice Catalyst has been my problem

I was using it with every watering, at 3ml per gallon of water. A friend told me that the plant stores it and doesn't fully process it, therefore it builds up and you can't flush it out of the plant

I quit using it, and everything is smoking real nice. I even have a few plants that weren't "leached" and were only given plain water for 2 weeks with no run off, and even it smokes real nice

wow....that's all I can say is wow. I've been chasing my tail and getting real frustrated, and EJ Catalyst was the culprit the entire time

it was the last thing I suspected
