Hello anybody that already owns a shop or knows a good friend that does and can guide me in the right direction as to how would be the safest way to open up a cannabis dispensary in Souther california would be great. I'm sick of the poor quality meds in my area and the genetics that are offered... Also infested cuttings and full of mildew plants should never be passed on knowingly to patients... And this places sell infested shit. I would like to offer better service and genetics with a much better understanding with out high prices tand in a clean professional place thank you.

Are you willing to put your life on the line for this?
Personally, i'm waiting until the gray area become either black or white. Unless you are into being a sacrificial lamb.

Have you got $$$ and infinite patience. To set up a brick and mortar disensary you will have to deal with zoning, leos, security, landlords, insurance, workers comp, taxes, attorneys to deal with the permits, inspections and fees out the wazoo.

Add local opposition,it only takes a little to delay or derail the plan.

Start a delivery service. Thats what I'm doing, screw the clubs. They want to talk down to vendors, while fishing for a lowball price.

I just made some cards 'SF Medical Delivery'

^that.

Also, you are about 3 years late on coming up with this thought. Market is flooded with Dispos, and the value of pot has plummeted. You won't make any money, you will lose money, and you won't get anywhere.

If you got at least 50k cash you are willing to lose and still wanna try to start a brick and mortar shop, reply and I'll type out what you need to do, but trust me it isn't worth it.

if your asking for advise from a bunch of anonymous stoners your starting out on the wrong foot. you need paid advise and guidance. everyone and their grandma wants to own a dispensary. that ship has sailed for the most part. if it was easy and safe i would have 3

Delivery service it's on working orders I just want a store front... I'm not in it for the money so I could care less if I'm too late as long as I can pay my fees and what not I'm happy and would love to put mucho back in to the community... I do it for the love cannabis is a great thing. I've already try setting up appoints with lawyers but since I'm young and probably don't look like I mean business yeah. Anyways I Have an idea of what it takes and I'm willing to work my way and if I didn't have the resources I would not be asking silly questions. I'd like to be a stand up place that only gets around by word of mouth no advertising.

I hate to say it, but 90% of people just don't have what it takes. You've been in Cali for all of what, a year?

I mean if your serious about then then great, but that doesn't change the fact that you need up front money, and lots of it. Now if your cool with potentially going to jail for your profitless cause then you can save a lot of the up front money. Part of that $50k you need up front is to put a baller lawyer on full retainer so that when you get raided, they seize all your shit and freeze your bank accounts, you will have representation and not be stuck with a clueless public defender.

I've already try setting up appoints with lawyers but since I'm young and probably don't look like I mean business yeah.

*virtually bitch slapping you*

Being totally honest here. If you can't figure/manage to get an appointment with a pot lawyer, you should not, and can not, open a brick and mortar dispensary. I'm telling you this for your own good.

I could walk into a lawyer office in Beverly Hill's with rags on and dirt under my fingernails and still talk my way into a meeting with a lawyer.

If you can't call a pot lawyer whose job in life is to take $2500-$5000 from you (going rate in socal for a not for profit incorporation collective to be set up by the pot lawyer, file the right paperwork, and tell you what to do, all of which takes the lawyer about 2 hours of actual work) then you are just not cut for this shit.

A competent person would see that there are literally hundreds of medical marijuana business lawyers in SoCal, all of whom would love to have a meeting with you... assuming you got the cash.

I can see that you're trying to be positive, but are you seriously considering what people are telling you, or just straight ignoring everything and everybody that doesn't support your idea?

Dude, you have to consider all sides of it, is what I'm saying. It looks WAAAY easier than it really is. How much scratch do you have saved up for this already? (and not $ to live, i.e. rent, food, gas, etc, but cash separate from daily expenses) It is EXPENSIVE, with a capital E.

:lurk:
