Oregon is MMJ friendly if you can deal with the rain. I moved up here from Laguna Beach 23 years ago. The rain can be tedious at times.........

Thank u for your response cc I hear Portlands pretty badass. Many cool waterfalls and rivers and 4x4.

I live in the Portland metro area. Pretty laid back - like anywhere else if you find a need for excitement and thrills at the hands of the local police they're more than willing to help you find your special place.

Good restaurants, museums, nightclubs, counter-culture, etc.

"Keep Portland Weird" is a mandatory bumper sticker. That and Birkenstock sandals if you're going to hang out in the Hawthorne District.

My wife and I are also planning a move - though it keeps getting pushed back. We might just stay in our state, but our possible locations are Oregon, Colorado and Washington.

All have their ups and downs - but it seems like the Seattle area, or the Portland area is where we are leaning. If I had to decide today - it would be Portland.

just make sure your girl is down 100%...it would be bad if you guys moved then she decided to split or cause drama...

CO sounds better than oregon...most of the CO locals always talk down about CO because they are trying to hide good things. if i had to choose colorado would be my next spot but its mostly because i have good homies out there...

i love the rain, so i vote oregon. nothing is more enjoyable then getting high on rainy days, sitting outside and listening to the pitter patter.

Holy shit thank u for all the input guys. Since I work with people I ask what's good out there and honestly everyone likes it where im at.. they say they always end up back here. Im still all ears but I would like to get out of here for awhile and enjoy some strange :)

So im going to visit Oregon later this year and colorado next trip.

If you are seriously considering the PNW plan an extended trip and see if you are affected by the weather. It literally made me want to kill myself. Colorado was my rescue. 300+ sunny days per year was just what the doctor ordered. Unfortunately the cold winters are really bad for my newly acquired rheumatoid arthritis. California is over populated and polluted with smog. AZ is way too conservative. If I ever moved it would be to Hawaii.
