Some 12 week ECSD... not digging it as much as the 11 week stuff but good in it's own right for sure. The 77 day stuff is just a lot tastier and more heady. Good to know going forward.

That Super Skunk looks fantastic, do you ever run into any mold issues with the super tight buds??
Nope, never any mold issues. Knock on wood. I think that's partly because I've never let a plant flower single cola-style.
With the vertical space, or lackthereof, I got into the habit of pruning, LSTing and supercropping them into rounded bushes. End up with a bunch of smaller colas and not as susceptible to rot. Nothing like the soda bottles you and Otto come up with.
Ya, that Super Skunk has me thinking I need to get some more of those seeds just to have around. Part of me wants to get some more sensi gear just to see if it's as bad as people claim. My very limited experience w/them has been nothing but positive.

I would try it for sure.The last pack of Super Skunk from Sensi that I ran was 3yrs ago and every seed popped and the plants were great.The shop they were at was robbed and we lost all the cuts.Regardless they were excellent plants.I'll buy one if you do!

Lookin' great man. I ran Super Skunk from Sensi Seeds last year - and it was awesome!!! Some of the best weed I have ever grown - and I have grown 50+ different strains!! I will post a few pics of the Super Skunk later.

Otto, a worthy venture IMO. The draw for me was the idea of BX'ing to the afghan side of Skunk with a worthy mom. Who knows if they used Skunk #1 or not. It's def. got more body than the typical Skunk and that suits me just fine. Not sweet or roadkill. Musky grapefruit citrus.
Not the first time I've come across a grapefruit smelling afghan that was worth keeping around, either. Might be a marker in that line? Here was one that I popped right alongside the Super Skunk. At the time there were 6 other Afghan plants and 4-5 Super Skunks and besides this Afghan and the Super skunk I post pics of, the rest were unremarkable on the whole.
I ended up having to reveg them both, which also was my 1st time revegging. Managed to pull both through. I was pretty damn happy. Then 3-4 days after the first new, green growth the Afghan just stopped drinking. I let it be for a few days, leaves started crisping up and dying. Stems turned woody and gray. At the time I was pretty bummed but wanted to stay positive and kept telling myself, hey 1 outta 2 ain't bad. But as I dipped into the jars and smoked through the afghan, I realized I'd clearly lost the better of the two, which to be fair is def. splitting hairs but all the same. Grapefruit and hash taste with a buzz best described as narcotic.
Burned some bowls down today for Bob's birthday so I took a couple shots while I was at it. I need to start hiding some jars before I empty em all.

Need some new flavors in the garden so I'm popping some seeds. Honey White bx2 from Highlighter, White x Chem'91 from cobcoop and Head Trip from Bodhi. Five of each.
If all goes as planned I'll have some new ladies to flower at the beginning of the new year.
The last new flavor found was a gem... Lucifer OG.

Thanks cob. The Luc OG is some stellar smoke. I love variety above all else yet I'm planning to do a run of just Lucifer. I want jars of that stuff around at all times.

That was the outlier, the others were all pretty standard Afghan types. One of them, the one pictured, was a real stunner. Pumped out the resin and smelled like someone blended hash and grapefruits together.

Honey White, aka Highlighter Kush. I have full faith in one of these seeds producing a killer hash plant that will keep me smoked out for many, many moons. I'm on a hash kick lately and want to get away from smoking mostly flowers. 2012 is gonna be the year the mad monk starts keeping it concentrated. Figures I wait til the end of the world to get my shit together!

Head Trip... letting my imagination run wild with these. It's a given that the bud will be good, Bodhi don't play around. But unlike the other two, I have no facking clue what to expect.

Alright, well the seedlings have done real well. 5/5 on the White '91's. They shot up outta the coco in no time. 4/5 on the Head Trips, just waiting for the straggler to pop up.
1 Honey White has started to poke through, figure another day or two and the others should start showing up.

For those keeping score at home, all 5 Head Trips popped. They look real good, in one nights time they caught up to the W91's and spit out considerable growth relative to the others. Gonna make sure I make some seeds with these, I already know I want to dig around deeper with this line. The Afgooey/Blockhead connection is drawing me in.
And 2 Honey White's have shown up to the party. Gonna give the others a few more days.
