Seems all one needs to do to shit on the constitution anymore is to bring whatever amendment up to the court and bam. Lets wipe our ass with that one. Country and the judiciary is going to hell in a handbag pushing ever closer to a full blown police state. Maybe if those running for elections weren't allowed to take a dime in political contributions from police unions we wouldn't see judges and other politicians pandering to their causes.

Goddamn. This is one of the very few times I'm glad to live in Texas- our laws get very little right but one of the things it actually does is property rights.

I sincerely hope the court ends up kicking itself over this decision the first time they do a massive drug raid on a paranoid guy who can prove the entry was unlawful and have to throw the whole thing out.
Edit: here's what I'd say about the nothing to hide line: "Staying legal doesn't mean non-incriminating- maybe I don't want you to see my prominently-displayed shelf of fine latex dildoes and vintage porn DVDs".
