First grow (400w), Taking all and any Suggestions

Hey guys, I am new to icmag and really am just starting to post. I am curious as to any suggestions for my current set-up

-Sun light system Yield master 2 supreme hood
-Galaxy 250/400 dimmable switchable ballast
-Vegged 26 days under MH then switched to HPS on day 28.
-I am planning on flowering in two week
-Currently on Veg cycle 18/6
-Nutrients: Botnicare Pro blend Gro, Fox Farm Big Bloom guano supplement, Botnicare Sweet, Backstrap mollasas, Local grow shop microbial tea blend.
-I am doing a defoliation technique and am currently on day 29, 3 days after a total defoliation.

Please anyone any any suggestions on how to increase my yield would be greatly appreciated.

that will do fairly well how you have it. I dont see any need to improve it. Just keep the light even. Slap a level on it to make sure. Keep a 400 watt light at least 8 inches above the plants. You can always use a light meter to check your light spread. Even light spread means an even canopy and even bud quality. Nice little set up though! Looks like you have been paying attention.

Yea I had the light tilted to throw light to the far side where my vent is, I should level it tho? I will get on that

That is a nice garden, you should of seen my first grow. It was a 400w, but it was days ago! it was ugly. No tent, out in the open. However the bud was super good and very clean organic, bug and mold free. I think you will do good! What strains are you rocking?

Right now I have
- a locally refined strain called Fraggle Rock, Its a guys cross between blu cheese and a Rock strain he started.
- I have one AK48 x Hawaiian Skunnk
- And lastly two Purps #1 in the same bucket. They are in the same one because a friend had an emergency and I had to take his purps which we got from the same mother.

Your set up looks very clean & efficiant !! no worries brother . you seem like you've been growin for years or you did alot of research before hand . you'll be fine dude .
one thing i did notice was no mention of scrubbed air ...... are you using a scrubber ? if not than you really should think about it now unless your in the woods somewhere that it doesn't matter .

Yea, I have considered it but I end up opening my tent so much I dont know how effective it would be in the end. Do you think I still should consider building one?

if theres even 1 person you don't want smelling them .... then yes you need a scrubber of some kind . could mean the difference between being home safe or in jail . the can9000 is a good filter for the price & its lasted a year so far .... but i should think about replacing it before i NEED to .

So I wanted to update my pictures and see if I can get any more advice. I just defoliated for the second time yesterday and I am currently 13 Days into flower.
Do you guys think they are stretching at all? Or I am doing well

Before you raped your plant were the leaves near the top a nice dark green or were they starting to yellow but leaving the veins of the leaf green ? I know the technique your using and i completely disagree with it but i respect your choice bro and will cheer you on all the way !!

It was a jungle but you have to understand there was about 1-2 inches of light penetration out of my 9 inches of growth. The other leaves toward the bottom were getting brown n curling, I am following the defoliation forum and am imploring their techniques but I do not plant on defoliating again being that this was my second time.

So today is day 14 of flower and about 35 hours after a serious defoliation. I have noticed a substantial amount of fattening in my very young buds. Ill keep on posting pics to show where it takes me

Just realized the pics are actually 40 hours after the defoliation but same difference its all results in the end.

I decided to raise up my AK47x Hawaiian on the left because its almost 100% indica and growing slower. But overall looking good

Thanks for the support lol....But yes I went by the advice of some good friends and an excellent local shop so I decided upon the scrog to maximize my S.A. for the tent which is only 20x34 inches
