^ this is a keeper pheno right there. I can recognize it from a mile away, I've had it before and it is some of the best herb I have ever smoked.

Catholic church all the way, powerful trippy smoke and an amazing taste, best stuff on earth. I'd say 10-11 wks sounds right.

My final SSH update for my hazey friends.....

Right before the chop 19wk and 5 days of 12/12, she could probly go a week longer but now she is just becoming a pain in the ass to keep around and now she must die. I cant wait to smoke the hash from this beeotch :dance013:

Hey to all you mighty haze-experts out there, i hope it's ok to ask a question, cause i seek some guidance :D
I've been given 3 freebees of Dutch passions *Dutch Haze*
As i'm going to have 2 different hazes in my next run, i thought why not try these out for experience.
So far i coudln't find anything about the strain exept from the breeders infos. thats where i got a little confused.
They claim their Haze to grow to 80-120cm... around 3 foot
What is a normal stretch for a *claimed 100% haze*
I got 6,5 foot/2m which gives me a plant size of 130cm/4foot tops. Just how big should veg them? and is LST/HST a good idea ?
thx for replys:thank you:

If I was growing something out for the first time with that much sativa, I'd do 12/12 from seed/rooted cut in small pot... Also use lst/supercropping.. There are plenty of threads on here with people growing sats with height restrictions.. Check'em out.. There's alot of good info.. Good luck with your Haze..

Very Very Very nice my friend. Great job and way to hang it out and stick in there. It is difficult to wait out Sativas. I am glad to see that you did and thus you will reap the benefits. Thanks for keep us all involved along the way.

Can't wait to hear how things are after a long drying and curing process.

My Humbl opinion, going straight 12/12 from seed will work for many long legged sativas. I find; however, that most sats need a good bit of development (veg) time to mature and produce the most distinctive flowers. I like to start them from seed and get good established vegetative growth (4-5 weeks), then clone for sex. By the time you've determined sex and the flowering keepers, the plants will be about 6-8 weeks old. You can then clone for the flower room. Once cloned, I would plant into a well matured organic soil mix. I would then let the clone veg for a few weeks (1-3 or more) depending on how I was running her (Straight or SCROG). Now you've got a flowering plant that is 3 months old genetically. If you wish to keep height to a minimum, you can go straight to 12/12 from rooted clone. Also, you can start flowering (first 3-5 weeks) in a smaller pot and then transplant into a larger pot once flower sites are established.

Here is a shot of an Old Timer Haze plant outdoors on day 1 of 12/12. It's maybe 30cm tall.

Here she is at 14 weeks 12/12 (almost 100cm)

Finished around 20 weeks

Can't speak to this specific Haze Hybrid, but if she is truly hazey, expect stretch in the neighborhood of 3x or more. Make sure she has plenty of good organic soil for the long haul. Expect flowering >12 weeks and upwards of 20. Good luck!

Agree 100% U.H.N. I'd like to add "ease up on the watering once the girls slow/stop their vertical growth to avoid over watering."
I did the small pots, 12/12 from seed thing with my Viet blacks and kept 'em under 35", including the planter. For 8 weeks I couldn't give 'em enough water!!! Now at week 10 two are starting to show overwater symptoms. Vertical growth stopped at 8wks, btw.

Agreed,

For the Old Timer's, I put a small pot (maybe 6-8L's) directly into soil outdoors and let the roots grow through the drain holes. In the original run and the clone run, I only watered a handful of times in all the weeks of flowering. Indoors, small pots and HID's are different, so to each their own.

growbie1,
Some lst or training will keep em manageable, hight wise.
12/12 from begining imho isnt the way to go,with a good vege I believe they can reach their potential, quicker.Maybe not as quick as we'd like but perfection takes time,we all want the best results from our herb.A veg also makes them yeild awesome, sometimes it feels like theyll never finish but its woth the torture.
Even a few weeks on 18/6 can make the world of differance imm.

Much luck with them!

I would like to know this also. I think Skunkbeard has some going. I am also just finishing packaging some up for seedbay right now.

I'll be all over that. I recently popped 2 of the HH X HK, I will definitely be posting pics.
