Epsoma vs Heavy Harvest for Guerrilla Grow

I am looking to avoid going out to my spots as much as possible. These two seem to be top of the line as far as getting that done. Epsoma is locally carried and would be my first choice, but I wonder if im too late to make use of it. Some of the products (plant tone?) require some "cooking time" which I don't have. Plants are going in the ground soon. Mix will be native and pro-mix with lime. That is all. Not looking to get my plots dug up by critters so I am looking to KISS to a degree. Water crystals might also be added, depending on the spot. I'd like to avoid the wait time ordering the heavy harvest line but some people do swear by it for guerrilla grows.

What epsoma products can I mix in soil, top dress, whatever and have success with minimal visits throughout the season?

if you're looking for minimal visits, I'd scratch the Heavy Harvest off your list. I get great results with the Heavy Harvest but I find I need to apply it every 10-14 days, depending on how much I'm watering and how hot it is.

If you want something that'll last the entire season, why not use Osmocote or something similiar, which lasts up to 3 months? Some people on these forums swear by it and the results I've seen are nothing short of impressive.

I LOVE Espoma products, the Plant-tone imparticular.I would make my holes slightly deeper/wider and layer my mix away from the root ball, mixing in native soil as I get closer to the root ball itself.Gives you at least a slight buffer/additional 'cook' time.

But as mentioned,if we get hit 2-3 week droughts, you're heading that way regardless.

Best of luck & happy OD growing

I'm having the SAME problem.. I'm guerilla growing, don't want to check to often, and decided on ESPOMA's products this year. But I just purchased the Espoma Biotone Starter Plus (4-3-3), and have NO time to let it cook in my soil. My plants neeed to go out this week!!

Will I have that big of a problem?
