Your plants look great...super heady sativa buds are the best.

I have grown a kali mist X ww and I just finished Serious ak-47...I am just wondering if you think the Kali Mist as more of a cerebral sativa high or is it more racey and edgey?

My AK-47 is a little too racey for me...just wondering if this is a quality among Simon's other genetics..

AND THE BUD STRUCTOR IS THE SAME, (TOTALY DIFFERNT) ALSO THERES RESIN EVERYWERE IM GUNNA KEEP K6 AND K5 COZ FROM A BIT OF RESERCH IT SEEMS THE INIDA PHENOS ARE PRETTY DOMINANT AND EASY TO FIND SO GUNNA GO WITH THE SATIVA BUT IWILL KEEP K4 ALIVE UNTILE I SMOKE ITS FLOWERS ............. its very cerebral and mood enhanching, i desribe it as happy weed, i just feel like everything is gunna be ok when i smoke it i feel like everything is good, nothing can upset me or piss me off , even doin silly things like watering my plants or doin house work i get enjoyment out of it lol but sayin that iv only tested one plant so far the k2 ............... others are still dryin ................ so god knows what other effects the other phenos are gunna be ............... its exciteing times when your smoke testin makes it all worth it

and actually iv never grown ak47 is it really the one hit wonder they say it is ?

and kali widow sounds intresting id love a puff of that

well there all down now !! i was gunna wait another week but i need space this is the second most sativa the k7 notice the amount of ties iv had to use she was really a handfull this plant cant wait to try this one i really cant woo hoo

the curiouse k6 beauitifull fruity smell on this one caked in resin and very slow to finish could really done with a bit longer if was been picky but sometimes ya gotta be realisic and ruthless .................... the best smellin by a country mile mmmmmmmmm !!

thanks man its been a long journy but its worth it, my jars are full as are my lungs really have the sativa bug now my next grow diary is likely to be chimera's mexicanx blueberry or even delta 9's mekong haze both should really test my metal

and finaly the k5 the sativa nightmire lol really testing plant just kept growing and growing it wouldnt stop, if this wasnt tied down i would of hit 7 foot easy i wrecken, even after the tie down it just kept growing vertical the arms are everywere i snaped a few in the last weeks coz i had no space in the room !! there isnt alot of bud on this but what bud there is is dense fat and sticky it has the classic kali mist look and i hope the kalimist high !!!

just wanna thank everyone who left comments on my thread, i know my spellings arnt the best and im a newbee , but you guys made the grow all that more fun with your kind words and encouragement !



ill finish this thread up with a smoke report and dryed bud pic for each pheno !!................... the pleasure will be mine hehe

Wow, that was along grow,but I'm glad I stayed tuned. Very interesting plants, all with their own structure. I've always shyed away from Kali Mist due to the supposed sativa structure, but now I'm thinking I could find a mom to meet my needs since they're ll so different. . .

thanks alot man you have been the regular on this thread id love to see you do a kali grow if you get some seeds and see what goodies you get in your pack and yeah it seems like you get a full spectrum of phenos from a pack of kali mist, not just simply either indica or sativa phenos !! there should be something to suite every need, from the superfast k2, to the massive yielding k3, the fruity wild card k6, and the sativa dom k5 .......................... my fav strain so far the one and only kali mist !

Are they known as being finicky? I'd love to know if they are. My AK cut is rock solid in terms of ease of maintenance, so I'd hate to get my hopes up about Kali Mist only to find out she's typically a PITA. . .

Just some advice from someone who's been there, switch up your smoking with something more indica every now and then. It will save you from having to make a new account later

The stretchy pure sativa phenos are nute sensitive and like to grow like vines. If your careful with your dosing and give them some silica they will reward you with the amazing smoke that will make you feel one with Kali.

I understand the stretch part of it. My grow spaces can compensate for that, but in terms of the nutrient sensitivity. . . what exactly do you mean by that? I use a synthetic 2 part nutrient, so do you mean I just give them proportionally less PPM of everything, or do you mean something more involved?

It's not that I'm too cheap to spring $100 for the seeds & experiment myself, it's just that my space to try out new genetics is limited, so getting this info ahead of time is huge. This thread has been great since it documented the selection of a mom. I'd love to hear what the OP has to say about the nute sensitivity as well. . .

I've only grown them in coco using canna coco a + b, but I can tell you that they like a steady stream of light nutes. Using a feed, feed, water routine gave me deficiencies, feeding lightly every watering they were happy but it led to salt buildup and lockout so then I would flush lightly and add back light nutes. Drip clean might help with that. They don't like fluctuations in feed, steady nutes with careful salt management or (I haven't done it yet) organic soil mixes are where it's at with the Kali I grew.
They aren't that bad to grow if you stay on top of things.
Just so you know, I grew Kali Most which is kali mist crossed with a pure sativa but the pure sativa had little influence.
Their high maintenance, but they put out like crack whores in Compton.
