By removing the cool tube the heat from a 1000w will kill 2 birds with one stone by raising temps and lowering RH% at the same time. You might need to raise the lamp a bit more to not scorch the canopy without the cool tube.. With cold night time temps obviously you would want the lamp on overnight when it is coldest.

Question Soil"Master".. When u "read all the grow books" were you actually present in mind rather than just body? It makes a difference.. Honest :laughing:

Try understanding the fundamentals before you even mention 1lb Soil"Master" lol.. Its hard to tell cos the pics are so bad but id be happy with a zip and a half off any of those plants. Add to that you have infestations of thrips and possibly mites, as well as 5 degrees celsius temps (LOL) maybe 1 zip max MIGHT be achievable, if they even live to see harvest time. At temps around 5 degrees your RH% will be thru the roof and it will only be a matter of time before you get PM and its all over. Raise the temps immediately!! I mean... did it even occur to you that 5 degrees celsius is a ridiculous temp for your plants to be in? You mentioned that you had "read all the grow books" but yet you dont have a grasp on the key fundamentals such as temps?? Did you even think about removing your cool tube to raise the temps when its not hot outside?.. (eg: any season except summertime) Are you even capable of thinking for yourself? These are all questions u need to consider..

Not to say u cant hit 1lb one day but u have a LOOOOOOOOOOONG way to go before you even arrive close to this.

What u need to do is spend hours reading all the informative stickies/threads on here but judging from your complete lack of common sense when u post on here i wonder if this is even a possibility..

If nothing more thanks for making me laugh at your level of newbness / stupidity LOL!!

Hey everyone. I know I'm obviously not a "master" just a dumb name lol.

Anyway. Yes I have a 250mm exaust fan and a 150mm intake fan. I know I need that. You'd have to be retarded not to pick that up from the grow books.

To be honest I know I won't get 1 pound. Maybe if all the buds fattened up. I'm thinking about 8-10 oz's off of all of them.

I really don't have the money at the moment to get a new reflector. They seem to be doing all right for now. But it's only going to get colder. I'll try and get a new reflector within the next 2 weeks.

I was pointing out some areas u needed to fix in your grow such as your temps and your bug infestations. I actually gave u some good advice on how to fix your issues..

true also would like to add if you elevate the plants off the floor you wont have the coldness from the ground to deal with. also a cheap oil filled radiator type space heater with a thermostat would help to control lights out temps.

Very true Maj.PotHead elavating the plants is a great idea. Especially being in a shed with potentially cold floors. Oil filled radiatiors are brilliant ( i use one also).. My only problem with them is they do use alot of power. Aside from that they're a growers best friend

I would use heaters but they chew even more power up than the light. Obviously the go is to raise my plants and remove the cooltube during winter. A 1000W HPS puts out a fair bit of heat.

Next pay I reckon I'll get a non cooled reflector.

If you have enough space for the plants to not get burned, grow vertical when its cold and don't bother with the reflector, if anything you might want to add a lil cheap fan than you can place directly under the lamp.

Right on AmeriSkunk there is something odd about this entire guys grow. Nobody could possibly be this mis/uninformed and be for real. Although in saying that.. the stupidity of mankind never ceases to amaze me so maybe.. Although there are so many glaring inconsistencies in most things he says.

Somebody who comes online and asks the stupidest questions possible to try and get a reaction from people (baiting if you like). THe worst thing is that alot of very kind and helpful senior members fall for it and unfortunately waste their time trying to help this guy.

Ive probably spent a few hundred hours over the past couple years reading great threads on here like Julians among many others.. I only recently created an account after 2 years of straight reading. Its clear u have done none of this all you are doing here is seeking quick band-aid answers after your've fucked everything up. You dont even understand the key fundamentals such as temperature and humidity control.. i mean why are you even posting when u should so obviously be reading?? You give nothing but expect so much help in return. Its so retarded.. just sayin

Right on, this is exactly what u need to do well done. The heat from a 1k should be enough to raise the temps and drop RH% into the desirable zones. Then u just need some supplemental heating when the lights are off and you will have improved your grow a bunch imo.
