i have the same one. works great! make sure to put the plastic shroud on the end right up to what you want to look at, and bam..it's right there.

well damn i wish i wouldve thought about checking ebay before going to the local hydro shop and dishing out damn near $30 for a 30X
Meh, hong kong? I think ill pay 5 dollars more to get one from radio shack, shipping from china is 2 to 3 weeks every time!

Does anyone know if they are better than the radioshack pocket scopes?
I have a RS Pocket scope and I think it f#ckin sucks, its hard to see thru and my little light bulb dims on me while im trying to check trichs. Im looking for something brighter, with better light quality, and for that price it looks mighty tempting.

Hey Iron Lion, this is so much better than the RS POS. I got this one about 3 weeks or so ago, and don't know how I got along without it.
Got it on ebay for 5.99 plus free ship from a place in NY. Very easy to see, not fiddling with adjusting focus with the wheels, just adjust distance from object and is clear as a bell.
I don't usually even need the light on this one, it is so easy. But, the light works great if you need it.
Grab it, you will not be sorry.

It looks like it'll take a watch battery or something similar.
My total order including shipping was $2.61 Canadian. Hell, I have like 8 weeks left before I'll need it, so I don't care about slow shipping . I should have bought more than one. I bet the device is cheaper than replacing the battery.
Much better. You can put this thing right on the leaf of a plant and see what's going on. I bought one about a year ago from Hong Kong and then ordered two more for backup.
