I know your out there!! dont be shy! I would like to know if yall are adding dolomite lime to the mix and the bag says it feeds for 6 months.. but when on average do you start feeding? Or just and pointers on using this soil. My seedlings are looking really good and no signs of burn.

MG is decent stuff man. I used Epsom salts as a foliar spray, which I believe is similar to dolomite?

Trich development was nice. The smoke was good. Not sure why MG has a bad rep.

Well I used it for my first grow and all I can tell you is that its grabage. all it did was hurt my plants and, and I wil never use it again. If you have to use it iI would cut it with something else like a FF happy frog or some other sort of a soiless mix. MG is never ph balanced, meaning it can be too HOT for small plants, or not have any neutriants that your plants can absorb. But hey, you may have good luck with it but my experiance is simple. I wil never use that stuff again. If u want a great alternative that isnt too expinsive, I use FF ocean forest (x1) and FF happy frog (x1) + a half bag of chuncky perlite. should run u about 35 bucks EST... plants love a "loose" soil for rapid root growth, and you can use this mix for all stages of growth.. meaning its not too Hot or cold (goldie lox) :p gl homie and happy growing..

I wouldn't go as far as saying MG is garbage. It's not the best shit out there, but obviously some growers have good results with it. Maybe your application of it was less than optimal? Look at those triches, does that look like garbage to you?

Lets put it this way. When I used it and saw how much damage it had cuased to my clones I killed them all and started over... IMHO its garbade. so some have had sucess, I give them mad props.. but there are much better mediums and if I can steer someone away from something that I FEEL IS CRAP, then I will. I dont hate on people who have had good luck but all the people I know (including myself) think and feel that I wouldnt use it to grow reg house plants let alone Conasure quality cannabis.

I use the MG Organic soil with Perlite. To me it is a good compromise from the more expensive soils (Its dirt) and it is very rare that I get anything bug or fungus related. In the past I had used my own compost, but you never know what is going to show up in your tent after a month. I still use my compost for the garden plants.

I like the organic stuff because of the slow release of nutrients and natural beneficial fungi and rhizomes. I use organic nutrient concentrates for veg and Kool Bloom for flower.

No complaints.

Fair enough. But yea man, I'm not talking about growing connoisseur quality smoke. But for some decent mid-grade shit, it's a cheap alternative.

I also have used and I am using Miracle Grow Organic with 1/3 perlite, and it has worked well for me. I did find some Promix organic at Lowes last week and picked up a large bag for my next grow. We will see if Promix is any better. I also have been using Fox Farm nutes along with the organic soil. I have had great results, but my genetics were pretty good to begin with. Their organic soil is much better for ganja that the other loaded up with fertilizer soil, so I would steer away from the feed for six months stuff. Good luck and yes I add dolomite lime to all my organic soil at the start. Love those trics in the photos.

MG is fine... is it the best no... I've seen many a grower get good or great results using MG medium and a few times even nutrients... It's just about paying attention to what your plants are telling you...

I used MG soil for years. Its was all i could get at the time. My results were up and down with it. I think alot of the problems i had were from using tap water which really jacked up my Ph. I would grow right in the bag of Mg. Flip it over poke holes in the bag and plant. Some of my biggest buds came from Mg. Im using FFOF now but if need be i would drop a plant back in a bag again. Peace LL

hortabud- I use and reuse the moisture control miracle grow.
I just add more slow release to it every run.

Good taste comes from the plant being able to consume all of whatever it is eating.
Does not matter if it is synthetic or organic if it is not flushed or eaten it will be smoked.
I have found the plant to give of more color as a response to digesting a variety of different sources of NPK.
The beauty of using a slow release fertilizer sometimes in conjunction with light organics is that the plant has the stability of constant basic food. The result of this is increased yields but I have not found quality to suffer. Plants like stability and if all there food is a work in progress it can cause stress.

i use ff ocean harvest and a bag of good organic soil and mix that , then use ff nuts and have had great results , its worth the xtra cash maybe $20 bucks more , but think how much better your bud will be and its proven already , you dont have to ask or guess you know !
