wow.. what fits in ASMAS DR40

so guys today i was lucky enough to be gifted a dr40, a 120 led panel
(looks cheap to me), and a 150w sun system hood, bottle of grow big and half of a tiger bloom FF bottles. good karma must finally be coming to me, good deeds pay off'. this is perfect since im just gathering up ideas for a dresser cab im planing on building i can start out in this tent while that gets built

also got two clones to throw in the tent. a skywalker clone and a quirkle clone. the skywalker has no smell and the quirkle smells like skunk if i rub the stems,i doubt there legit but that is what i can attain atm.

this was a nice surprise to say the least i wasn't prepared so i will be going out tmro to get some air pots and soil. the tent itself is 16x16x46 i think what do you guys think over all?
i will post pics tmro morning when i borrow a cam for before and after pics

its just a really hot night. opened vents went down to 78. no fan in hand right now. ill pick something up tmro, by the way what size fan will i need to vent that 150w?

hey discobiscuit thanks, for the other cab build i was leaning towards plls and you mentioned a 150w, should i just veg/clone in the dr40 and throw this 150w sun system in the cab and run it as a flower room now that i have it.? how things change

Hey asma. I use a dr40 and a 250 w hps, flowering beautiful( last week too) temp stays at 80 with wents down in a closet, i think with a 150 w and with that reflector u dont have too worry . only my opinion thow, and ur stuff looks amazing. / VSH

when i got the clones they were just in a foam square and the root were dried out. they were in jiffy pots for two days when i transplanted today i noticed all the dried roots i had seen were dead with a few new ones coming out the bottom. i hope from now on they have a happy life!

for soil the only thing i could get was happy frog and as for containers i got 1gal. aurora root pots (couldn't get smart pots)

Hi ASMA. I'm not sure which light would work best in your setup. If you can handle the extra heat, I'd try the hps.

Never used Happy Frog. I'd check the runoff pH to see if it needs lime. If the pH is too low you may get Ca and Mg defs. If your runoff reads 6.0 or lower, I'd consider 1 tablespoon lime per gallon of mix. Best wishes.

ohh by the way i did get an extraction fan keeping the tent at about room temp 75* and humiditty at 48% still need a pc fan to go over the plants..

ilove it thanks for popping in,hahayep its a tight fit hence the tittle "what fits" bro. mmm a dr60 sounds nice! you runing a 250w? i was looking at there new tents with a flower/veg area on top looks sweet, but i want to work up to that.

by the way quick question for you guys im running my led at 18/6 is there a light period that would be more beneficial towards growth and roots? i was thinking more light more growth but just making sure...

Congrats on the nice wind fall ASMA. You mentioned building a dresser cab for flowering. Exhaust fan and carbon scrubber sizes will depend in it's dimentions. If your clones came from a questionable source you should consider treating them w/neem oil or some other pesticide a couple times prior to flowering them.

Screw the cab, keep the tent!

Use a 4" inline fan to cool the 150w.

I would try to hang the bulb vertically and put the plants around it, with a little $20 9" fan from Target point straight up at the light.
