ANyone feel like helping me design a grow room?

I was hoping there are some fellow kind stoner souls out there that are willing to share their grow room design experience with me. I have always wung it and just dealt with issues as they come.

Now I want to be proactive and design the room prior and make sure all the functionality is there to have a efficient and effective grow space.

The space my friend is using right now to grow is in his boiler room with very little room to move. I will attach some pictures after this post.

The equipment he has is a 600 HPS and about 4 t5 floros.

100cfm bathroom fan and an oscilating fan and some white out sheets about 32x4 ft which I use to block the light.

He wants to move out of the boiler room (the only reason he was in there is because the basement is very very cold and thats the only place that doesn't have the huge temp swings but I hope to address this in the new room with a heating cooling temp controlled system.

The room i want to design will have another 600 hps. the room size is about 10x8 so I'm sure I have lots of room to work with. If anyone wants to help me out I am willing to pay if I have to. I would like to take a look at some different designs but I find it hard to search these forums and find the really good info.

Why don't you peak around the grow diaries and find a setup you like and go from there.

Thats a perfect size for a stadium 6x4 two vertical 6 huns. four shelves six ft long 2ft and 4 ft off the ground and leave you some room to set up dehuey , exhaust Fan , scrubber and to get behind shelves for maintenance.Dont need as much space as a flat garden. Use the t5 s for cuts , moms and veg.

plan carefully. 10x8 will seem small by the time you're done. i'm finishing my 11x13 space. by the time you make a veg room, flower room, drying area, install ventilation, watering, lighting infastructure, things will be crowded. draw plans before construction. visualize how things will look and work together. read the passive plant killer thread. i just finished my prototype plant killer. if my yields are 1/4 what delta9nxs gets, i'll declare the operation a success. some of the grow manuals by rosenthall and cervantes, and others give step-by step growroom construction guides. be safe.
