Hi all I am a Canadian living in Costa Rica,in the central valley now but I will soon be building a new home over on the Caribbean side of the country.
I am going to start an indoor grow at some point in the next few months to supply hemp oil (naptha extraction) to a friend with cancer ( and for recreational use for the wife and I).

So hello, and looking foward to corresponding with you all

I’ll tell you one thing, from firsthand knowledge of business dealings with the Ticos, they MUST screw you in any business deal. Even if just a little bit, it is a necessity for them, because part of their manliness or machismo is at risk if they don’t somehow skim you out of a little something extra beyond any contract, legal or handshake agreement.

Allow for this, and you’ll be Ok. It’s just a way of life for them.

True that!

And the actual situation reflects on this... ticos love to think they are soooooo smart and cunning...

Sad, since the country had some potential...

I'm goingg down There for a wedding in November. I'm staying at an all inclusive gimmick in popagayo. How hard is it going to be to scor on the resort? Is it safe?

Young taxi drivers will be happy to assist... ask specifically for Jamaican High Grade (locals may pronounce it: "hi red").

There is some very nice Jamaican brick being imported.
