Cutting the plant in the DAY or NIGHT???

Check the harvest section, I believe I read that it's important to harvest in the dark, while most of the stuff that makes the bud harsh is still stored down in the stems. Once the light hits, that stuff rushes up to the flowers and you don't want to chop them then.

Your security should be the major concern of when to chop when it comes to outdoor plants.

As far as the difference in taste between a plant chopped in day as opposed to night is not discernible at all, if there is any difference at all.
While it may be true that certain auxins may move from root zone to veg matter in accordance with light changes, there has been no credible evidence that I have seen that indicates this situation effects taste, quality, or quantity in any way.
This thing is more canna-legend than studied fact.

Not a veteran grower(but not a noobie) but have been smoking for 30+ years(does this qualify as a vet?)How many agricultural products are harvested at night? Anybody know if tobacco is nighttime harvest? Is anything harvested at night(or when there is no light for hydro grows of other than mj)? I'm a little skeptical of the benefits. I've done side by sides and couldn't tell the difference when I didn't know which one I was smoking, maybe my palate is not as discerning as others.

it dont matter if its night or dark imo and fyi pf tek is the most noobish way to grow mushrooms........and why cant you just make one thread instead of having a ton of threads in different subforums all over icmag to ask some questions your really cluttering up the forums imo....one thread can get as much answers as the 10 your currently have going............

Harvesting in the fading light in the mid of a thunderstorm is not fun. But hey, You gotta do what You gotta do.

I believe that when you get the color you want on the trichomes you are ready for harvest. If it's dark while you chop the plants should not have much effect, but would assume it's best to cut them while they are sleeping because they are still producing then.

It's going to be potent either way if its dark or light.
