4000w MH should get me where i want to be pretty quick

and some electrical done today

big carbon filter with 8" fan

ventilation is key. each 2 rows of lights are on there own 6" fan and the carbon filter is on an 8" and they are all vented out above the 16k btu A/C.

so far it seems to be staying very cool in there.

At this point i am thinking i need 2 more weeks veg. Any thoughts?

If i had any extra loot i would be getting a nice CO2 generator and controller but i am about tapped.

time to relax.

Enjoy everyone.

btw, i watered with micro and cal-mag today so i'm hoping to see a stark improvement in the plants health over the next week. They had a rough transition while all this was getting built.

That fan needs to be placed in a different location.
Preferably on a path of indirect wind exposure.
I'd hang it, with safety attachment so if handle breaks you're not fucked.

She is hangin from bungees just below the lights above the canopy on low now. I'll snap a pic.

Thanks for the good tip. I'm hoping for many more like it.

The fan is up. I will be getting some 16" oscillating for the tent corners (up high) in the future but for now i am working with what i got. This is my first grow at this location and I am starting from less than scratch.

You can really see the deficiencies in these pics. That should be gone soon. Before i came on board it was no nutes and un-PHed tap water as needed under a single 1000w conversion in an unvented cool tube. From here on out its R/O all the way. Added some floranova last week. Just today some micro and cal-mag. I really hope these blast off cuz my time at this spot is limited to 6 months.

I was hoping to do a good update but after the first picture my camera's battery died. Since the charger isn't at this house i have no choice but to wait.

Anyway, here is the one pic. Day one of flower.

More to come.

Alright. Now we are moving along. This grow seemed to have taken forever to get off the ground but it's moving along well now. I'm at one week flower. ..Did my first bloom feeding yesterday. Lucas w cal/mag at 6.4 PH. I believe that the cal/mag deficiency is taken care of and there does not seem to be any bugs/mold at all. The canopy is all filled in. All and all i think i am very happy with this at this point.

Here is a few individual plant shots to add a little detail to the log. The canopy shots get boring.

Here are 2 different Stardawgs. Short and compact. The second one almost looks like a ground cover plant. That one will have a ton of nice 3 - 4 gram buds.

Arial view of the second plant

Sour Diesel looking like a producer. I cant wait to see this one at 10 weeks.

Apothecary 91' Chem

Not much for buds so far but they are setting up. What can i say its only been one week.

And finally a canopy shot

I hope you all had a great weekend. Going to work on the next generation for this room.

That is a very nice setup you have. What size tent is that?

-Funk

Thanks funk. It's a Secret Jardin 240. 8' x 8'.

Here is a link to amazon where there is more detail:
http://www.amazon.com/Secret-Jardin-DarkRoom-240-Inches/dp/B0029IT822

but i have to say, i would not recommend it. I am a growlab guy. I have a few of them. I gave the jardin a try but i wouldnt buy it again. Tons of pin holes. Not the greatest zippers. Most importantly after water last week i noticed a bunch of water creeping out from under the tent.. Obviously there is a leak in the seems somewhere or maybe a hole in the material itself. It does have a second bottom part to guard against that..

With this thing filled up it isnt going anywhere. Eventually though i am hoping that i am not in for a surprise when this tent gets moved.

Thank Stickky. I was reading a post of yours in the 'A question for California people' the other day and you had some good advice for the OP.

Stickk around and there will be some nice bud shots coming out of here in about a month

Still? They are looking healthy now. Next time i will grab some better shots and see...

I mentioned it earlier but these babes had a ROUGH start. Before this house was available all 36 were crammed into a closet in beer cups for a month. They got plain and unPH'd tap water that whole time and were so root bound that they needed watering everyday.

It's been 3 or 4 weeks since then and i think the turn around is ten fold, although there is always from for improvement.

Next update i'll snap some good pics and if everything goes right in another 2 weeks there should be some nice buds forming in here.

thanks man.

peace

So it's been almost 2 weeks. 10 days actually from the last pics.

Here are a few new ones. It's been interesting so far.

The first ones are all Stardawg. You can spot them easily by the squat stature and the highly serrated, dark leaves. The other strain that you can see in the following pics will be the Sour Diesel. Obviously much taller and sativa(ish). Both beautiful strains in their own way.

Sour side of the room.
