Three words: DJ Short's Flo. She's my favorite. Really nice positive up high,no crash,just a gentle re-entry. The high just wears off. Great for conversation and intimacy,real lover's herb from my experience.

I second this choice. However, with ANY strain, especially open-pollinated lines, there is always a pheno hunt. Flo for me is clarity, anti-anxiety, energy, empathy, humor and zero come down... SO kind and gentle in a powerful way.

I heard that Flo was extremely varied and not to expect any consistency between phenos. Maybe you got lucky or something?

You just have to put in the work! It's worth it! I've been selecting for 4 generations and am now close to isolating my favorite pheno is a see line

Love the Ace suggestions. Bangi Haze is powerful and extremely up tempo. I've grown and enjoyed Flo, a bit more body. Apollo Mist from Rez was a nice uppity daytime smoke.

how do you grow and what with ?

I grow hydroponically in ebb&flood type of systems, in a room about 4 x 10 feet.

I use General Hydroponics FloraBloom and FloraMicro for the most part, usually going with Advanced Nutrients Big Bud when the flowers have started to really form.

For lights, I have a 600w HPS and a 730w Sulphur Plasma. These are far away from CFL's, I think... Although I occasionally use a few CFL's to root cuttings with, but only in winter.

I have grown for total time of 8 years, and I have a Degree in Gardening - specialized in Production (and I work as a gardener)

So technically I should have all it needs to produce prime quality cannabis... But this is a relative thing... Some might say I don't know shit.

I've heard that Durban Poison is not strong and nicely Up&High but I have no other experience about than a DB x Skunk cross..

I have had some Durban Poison years ago, grown by a friend. Actually now that I think of it, missus liked it. But I bet the Durbans from Nirvana and such are hybrids... There might be a pure Durban available somewhere though.

I'm going to also recommend DJ Short's Flo.

I wouldn't want to go for a massive pheno hunt, but of course there is always a selection to be made, its not that, but good Flo phenos, for what I have read are very scarce.

I have actually thought of this many times, but the genetics sound VERY POWERFUL and possibly really overwhelming for her.. I mean, Haze x Widow equals superpotency, right?

Never heard of Real Seed Co. Which place sells these?

Heard good things about A11.. But it's so hard to find, mostly they are self-made or generations run in high numbers.. But I know the Grimm originals are just unobtainable nowadays..

I will chop way early this round; she has a main part in some play, and I figure the house will be full of nosy relatives - better not risk it - they will go down in 9 weeks (63 days) - Does this sound OK? Strains; Super Skunk - LSD (sativa pheno) - the mystery sativa which is from Gypsy Nirvana's Megamix bag, and I think its the White Himalayan Haze

African sativas might be that stuff she's looking for.

However whenever I even think about flowering one of those, and not now talking about the basic 30 plant SOG, couldn't just do it most likely as these often grow christmastree way + stretching to high heavens.

That is the price I have to pay for getting her pleased?

I don't know what to do. For me, all bud is of intrest. She rarely takes anything else but sativas & only with a Volcano, I rarely tend to cook with cannabis but she also likes that kind - too bad the last batch of cookies were overcooked / too dry mix / failure...

Haze genetics always wonder me, whether its the ultimate super paranoia weed, super racy, and this thing seems to be crossed to MANY strains of today..

I have some bagseeds from my travels in Tasmania which I think might have something in them for her..

The stuff I toked in the guys place was of very, very low potency, considering that I had no tolerance had a good size bag of it from the Volcano (really, really light).. I have no idea about the strains. He was young in the 60's though...

Heh, I really wonder what are in those seeds. He gave me 6 different strains, no info whatsoever. Maybe I should make a 6 strain party? Nah. I am no breeder, but these are of no greater value to others than me, at least I have a emotional connection to the moments at the guys place etc memories, but it was creepy in the end.

Then there's this one really good fella that gave me the best tokes/experiences of my life..

Just recently grew out some Skunk X Haze freebies acquired a few years back from the dope seed bank. Most phenos leaned toward the haze in terms of structure but they all seem to have the same 12 week finishing time and mellow sativa high. Compare a cup of lightly steeped green tea to a triple espresso and you'll get a sense of the difference between this and a more in-your-face rocket-to-the-moon sativa. This is very gentle stuff, muscles feel naturally relaxed rather than the medicated relaxation of a heavy indica, mind very much at peace listening to early spring's morning bird and insect sounds, but an attentive peace and liftedness that continues to creep up as the high settles in. Could be easy to over do it with this stuff because of the delayed onset. I think similar highs might be found in some of Nirvana's sativas. They advertise a few low potency, laid back sativas.

i am growing the mango haze from mr. nice. got this hazy 13 -14 week pheno that is sick - five oz from her and stratospheric old school sativa buzz. i love sativa...

good luck in your search... what you are looking for is out there, but it won't finish in 60 days imho...
