The Blue Ice clone came to the LGA via son-T and kerbdog from someone they called "The Welsh Wizard"... hehe
(Im guessing there are lots of them)
We understand the lineage was Ice x Blueberry (or Blueberry x Ice). Never grew it myself... still nice clone and smoke

N1 man, makes sense & is the obvious answer. So it wasnt the same 'Blue Ice' we had up here in my part of Wales, that was definately a Purp Pheno of ICE that was Blue tinted rather than purple. Cheers!
How about an ICMag tribute strain 'ICMag'-'Ice x Magenta99', lol sounds good done it! hehe!
It would have to be Nivarna's version of ICE though, 4-way cup winning cross(HTCC 98).

Right dudes from west of the border, i aint ever heard of no "elite" cutting that came from wales apart from blue ice, and seeing as i live here and have never even had the pleasure of smoing it, or evert heard asnyone mention it. Until we find our own elite cut to pass the world over, i have found us orphan.
This is the mystery cutting i was passed by my mate, who had it passed to him by a mate, and then once again, lol. This did all happen in wales mind, just go further up the valleys as you go back, hehe.
I have no idea what the genetics of it are, but i know a very poorly grown, very early pulled bud from it was a decent smoke and you could tell there was potential. My mate said i could have it as i was giving him 11 cuttings at the time and he had no room. So i adopted it, and just took cuts of it today myself.
It has great structure, short tight internodes, strong branching, kush like leafs, and the buds go purple. I'm pretty sure they will defo go purple, as my mates growroom aint that cold, so cant think it was down to temps, and the calyxes were proper dark purple.
The smoke was kind of sweet and nicer than any other bud that has loked in such a state i smoked before.
I hope she roots easily, as she was only currently able to give me 5 cuttings. Once she's recovered from the stress, she will get an autopot, and i might take a couple more before flowering here.
If she does indeed turn out to be a winner, worthy of being grown by the masses, i claim her for the welsh growers thread.
Hopefully i'll hit the jackpot myself soon with some of my seeds, but until then, or one of you boyos do, we'll pin our hopes on this red beauty being a great welsh cutting.

Aye, the blue ice certainly looks nice. I've never heard of anyone saying they have the cut, or grow it, or seen any grow logs of it. It's just a cut i heard came from wales.
Your pyschocindy certainly is made in wales, and any supreme cutting better than both parents could certainly be viewed a welsh cutting if its found in wales. If the grower is in england/scotland etc, then i guess they get bragging rights, lol.

it's supposed to be Choc Thai x Cannalope Haze... I was given it as I love sativas and was banging on about old choc thai ,but when I grew it I found it had fan leaves as big as your head and was done done and done in 9.5 weeks.. I took her at 8.5 for the flavour after I was told by someone who entered (and won) with the same cut the year before to take it then... if I'm honest I dont believe chocolope has the parents from the description... just my opinion though...maybe my cut (which is actually the coffeeshop chocolope cut) isnt chocolope at all...

Easy all I'm a Welsh grower, well North Wales to be more precise so more of a gog than a taf. Live in England now but still go back to the farm most months to see the folks. Love going back to be honest peace and quiet. Back in the 90's I got a bit of bud from a dude from mid Wales said it was shiva skunk and wow potent. Lovely looking bud, dark green and coated in big crystal coated suger leaves. I've grown out shiva many times and now got a 92 cut but it's not the same thing. Not sure it was even shiva now

Yep im half welsh, half white british and half irish but only when im asleep lol and my wifes snotish. Our kids seem to have identity probs but just cant figure it out.
