I think there is probably a 3x vert difference between inrun and jump.
But, I used to jump off of smaller air hills and we needed more like an 5x-7x inrun.
Also the angle of trajectory was much higher and we landed on a 60deg negative slope, and the IMPACT was still fucking tough, would kill my ass today.
Grav works at -8.91 m/s and he is traveling over 40 mph (probably a lot faster, but I just cant do maths right now) and comes to a halt in under 1 sec and 10 ft.
That would kill anyman, (think of a vehicular head-on collision at 15 MPH w/o seatbelts)

You fucked that up. Gravity has no specific velocity, only acceleration. -9.81 m/s^2, or meters per second squared. This will actually break down in a variable algebraic equation with 2 terms. It will take a little calculus to figure out his actual speed relative to the ground. X-Y relation....
