40 packs of F13 on seed boutique... i may do a winter F13 run with 5 packs indoors and drop the nighttime temps as the grow progresses to try and find the B13 pheno

I have to agree with most of what Bohempian is stating. However, this particular phenotype of F13 (f1 right out of a DJ pack) turns black on harvest no matter the temps. The shots I showed here were a cut of her grown in a container outdoors. She was black before night temps got down to the 60'sF
Indoors in a cabinet she also turns just as black.
This is a shot of a sister F13 to the black beauty from the same pack.
The calyx' for sure got dark as the beauty's do, but never got quite as dark and didn't yield quite as well. Although her buds were about as luscious as one can imagine.
Be aware that although F13 is a headstash connoisseur cultivar, she holds some undesirable surprises. In the same pack as those above, I also had a sterile male, and a mutant plant that was very disappointing. I wouldn't commit a whole grow to it unless you can afford to do so. They require a bit of veg for any sort of yield, and I found they go 10+ wks easy.
And yes, black beauty lives.
