Burn or Mold? Only on one side...

I've got a plant, actually more than one, but each with varying "burntness" to them. The side facing the light is all brown...the side facing away is nice and green.

You can see in that picture that the leaves look burnt. But it's not like what I'd expect from "light burn", it's not uniform. Meaning just because it's closer to the light, it's burnt. If you look closely, you'll see what I mean.

This is the other side, facing away from the light. No burn whatsoever.

So...is it burn? Why now? Do the buds SLOWLY get burnt over several months time? None are what I'd consider too close to the bulb. It's a CERAMIC MH 400W hung vertically and these buds are about 9" away...not what I'd think too close. There's also a fan blowing up from the bottom. Wind burn maybe?

I'm getting worried...

I'm hoping nobody say's it's mold. It's a slow process the "burning"...it's probably taken a month to get this bad. It starts slowly at the tips and works it's way in. Using GH Maxibloom, 1 tsp/gal, pHed to upper 5 to lower 6. In hempy buckets fed/watered daily.

They grew well for the first 3 months and then this happened. First one with burnt tips...getting more and more involved, two weeks later another starts getting burnt tips...etc. All have some burning facing the bulb. Is it the CMH? Should I go to HPS? Are they too close?

Thanks!

^ya it is hard to tell. move one of your plants farther away to see if it is burn.

next harvest keep your humidity at 35 percent, and clean your grow area with bleach.

Seems you already gave out the answer in your own post bro...

One of the bene's of the MH is the UV spectrum... and one of the potential harms.

I think it's light burn as well.
Putting the bulb a couple of inches back turn the plants around and see what happens in the next couple of day would be my line of action.
