Hey guys,

Setting up a additional hydro warehouse next week and still pondering which method I want to setup.

Those that are using the CAP ebb and grow and the Greenhouse Multi-flows, have you had any problems at all with leaks or faulty grommets? Are there any disadvantages that you have encountered when using this system? I have run ebb and flow tables for years, just wondering how the bucket setups are holding up over time.

I will be expanding each unit to 48 site systems totaling 192 buckets in flowering pods.

Thanks in advance

I have been using Cap’s ebb & flow now for 2 yrs. I have a small grow, 4 to 8 2 gal. buckets at a time. This system needs a lot of improvements. The controller is on the floor
so you must lay on your belly to set or change flood times. Assembling the system is a knuckle breaker. Getting the grommets and plastic fittings on is hard, even harder to take them apart. The only leaks I’ve had were operator error.
There are a lot more little problems with this unit, but it works, it works well when dialed in. Oh, a level floor is a must.

Hey Cap Com Ebb n gro user and installer here. Lots of little problems, level floors a must. Or laser your pots to level with the controller. Grommets/fittings? Yeah warm to hot water on the hoses helps. The pump fittings are the worst.
Buy from a good store/dealer as Cap Com has awful to zero customer service. Here in Mi as a new Med state, they seem to have send out their junk. What they could not sell to on-line wholesalers.
***** ONLY USE CONTROLER POTS WITH 3 FLOAT/MICRO SWITCHES*****
Even with those problems this is a very easy system on a daily basis. Also modifies to different locations and methods. I finally put drains in th rez. Darned nice, as long as it dosen't leak )- Good luck feel free to ask whatever

I just made my own cap and flow system and it works great for me i have no leaks and cause i made my own it is custom to my liking instead of the 2 gallon buckets that the store bot one comes with i made my with 3 gallon buckets and also got custom pots that are also better . I use to grow using the flood tables and then my friend started using the cap system and had really good resaults and higher yields do to being able to grow bigger plants so i said fuck it im going to try one but then seen the price of one and said fuck that i can make one for way cheaper and i did the store one coast 800$ for the hole system and for just the controller it was 350$ . I made my hole system for 200$ and thats a complete 12 pot system the controller bucket and controller coast the most it was 120$ and i had to put it together my self witch was not that hard . So yeah just like any hydro system your going to have your fair share of problems cause no system is 100% fool proof . So all and all i say get one or even build your own and if you need any help dont hesitate to send me a message asking any questions i do not mind helping my fellow green thumb's . So good luck and let me know what you dicside to do
