To grow at 43degrees North-latitude on the east coast! I usually harvest my plants around mid-October, last week of October at latest. But I'm really interested in something that would finish in the beginning of October, or maybe even September.. and potency/yield/mold-resistance/outdoor-performance are also huge factors in my decision.. I'm used to growing indica's but an early-sativa would be nice. I'll probably only purchase 2 strains from the following list I've chosen, I'm on a budget.. :bump:

I was checking out Hill Temple Collective and Tom Hill's seedbank because it seem's these strains perform well outdoors and are very potent!! These are a few I'm considering from HTC:
- Sunshine #2 (Sunshine X DeepChunk): very interested, seems extremely resinous and I've been wondering about DC for awhile, not sure how this one does outside though..
- RocketChunk (DeepChunk X E-RocketDanish Passion): also very interested in this one, another DC cross that is suppose to finish EARLY outdoors!
- Tom Hill's DEEP CHUNK

Nirvana Seedbank.. I need to keep it cheap and I know that Nirvana still has some great crosses. Here are my choices:
- Swiss Cheese (SwissMiss X "Unusual" Skunk#1 Pheno): mold resistant, seems like a good potent strain, probably decent for outdoor, love skunks
- Super Skunk (Skunk#1 X Afghani?): I LOVE skunky/musky smelling sticky potent buds! I love skunks and afghanis and I know this one would do great outdoors, great yield
- Pure Power Plant: BEST suitable for outdoors, sativa-dominant, high THC, high yield, STRONG possibility.
- Snow White : Best suitable for outdoor, big yielder, high THC
- Master Kush, and a few others

Female Seeds.. Always been interested in giving female seeds a try, would save some trouble, and this seedbank seems reliable:
- PurplePower: purple/blue buds! OUTDOOR-only, fast flowering, popular strain
- White Widow: always wanted to try this one. potency and high chrystal-content, outdoors?
- Maroc: "highly-resinous outdoor strain :D", early flowering, cheap, highly possible
- Pure AK: I WANT IT but it's out of stockkk :(
- Black Widow: maybe

Flying Dutchmen:
- The Pure: pure original skunk#1?, big yield, skunky taste, outdoors, high THC, CHEAP
- Haley's Comet
- Skunk#1 Fem

GreenHouse Seeds. GREAT genetics but probably too expensive for me:
-Great White Shark
- Lemon Skunk
- White Widow/Rhino

Mandala. I know these strains do great outdoors and they are cheappp for the most part! High possibility:
- Mandala #1: outdoor, early flowering, highly resinous, high yield
- Hashberry
- every other Mandala strain is being considered

Mr. Nice:
- Shit (Afghan X Skunk): seems like a great stinky, skunky strain, good yield, high THC, good for outdoors
- Critical Mass: great strain but expensive

Spice of Life
- Blue Satellite #2.2: cheap, good outdoors?

Sensi Seeds
- Guerilla Gusto: early, good outdoors
- Sensi Skunk
- Hindu Kush
- Super Skunk
- others

Sweet Seeds
- Black Jack
- Sweet Afghani Delicious: very interested in this one, September harvest, HIGH THC, afghani

White Label

- Holland's Hope
- Double Gum
- Rhino
- NL
- Skunk
- Super Skunk
- Power Plant

Soma, THSeeds, and a few others..

Good to see the outdoor section of ICMag bumping again!! :jump:

I'd like to run Trainwreck or AK47 outdoors as I hear they do real well around here, yield, and definately potency-wise. But the real ones are so expensive.. I'm also open to any other suggestions!! Please help me choose!!

PPP seems like a sure winner! Can't beat the price.
I'd like to add Biddy Early to your list. She is perfect for 43° N on the east coast. Reasonably priced, and I will run her every year I grow outside. I'm also running Early Queen from Mr. Nice, (first go with her), also decent price and good number of seeds in a pack from Shanti!
Mendocino Madness from ThSeeds was a let down for me.
Mandala #1 was pretty good, if I could have gone 1-2 more weeks, she might have been great.
KC Brains Leda Uno, and KC 36 were great for me a few years back. Cheap too. Not too sure of KC these days tho'.
The Rocket Chunk sounds awesome, but prolly not cheap.

I've been very happy with the seeds and plants from both Female Seeds and Hybrids From Hell. I believe they both offer real bargains. Ive had excellent germination and seedling vigor from both vendors.

I've got FM's Purple Maroc and Easy Sativa ready to go out now.

From HFH I'd try Arne's Snowdog, $3o for 13. They are up at the bay now:

Snowdog bx1 x AmnesiaHaze\Arne

Made outdoor in 2009

For n lats under 54 and indoor

big yielder, good mold resistans

Tough early strains and that Arne seems to be good & early in it's crosses.

Peace

^ yeah ide say go with some of esbes stuff

Or you could go to Unleashdagreen and order up some canadien genetics. Freezeland crosses are top-notch. They are only 50$ a pack for non members i believe, an you get 15 freebie seeds with every order.

I actually ordered up the c99 x gg#3, Freezeland x Manitoba madness, and Auto Afgan x Manitoba madness... All of these will finish in september, with some phenos being early to mid september. Cant go wrong with canadian shit if your northeast.

I'd go with PPP, S.A.D., Nirvana's Aurora Indica(one of my favs Afghan x Northern Lights) or Purple Maroc from FMS. All should finish in time and are available on the Boo. A.I. only in 5 packs. Better order soon!!!

Hi Marcellas !
I saw that you were thinking of Swiss Cheese and i grow that last year in Sweden and i have to say that i loved that strain. VERY easy to grow and very forgiving if you would overdose on nutrients and very good at low temps, i had it out to the first week of November here and it was -5C at nights and some nights even -8C. One morning when i came out it was ice covering the top cola and half of the 4 plants i have but NO problems what so ever, It looked so fresh, only like 1 or 2 leafs where damaged by that. A real THOUGH one i have to say and if you get the dark green pheno who is a little smaller then the others she is the toughest one and have a wonderful awesome lavender smell and a little pinetree smell also and the HIGH on that one was probably one of mine favorites i have encountered so far. . . REALLY NICE BUZZ. . . I would say that give it a try you will like it and i had no 0% mould. . .

Greenhouse seeds arent as expensive as you think.

Im growing Himalayan Gold this season and 5 seeds were aound 35 bucks. not so bad. Supposed to be a sept. finisher.

I am also growing Easy Sativa by Female seeds. Also finishes in Sept and high yields.
Also growing AK48 from Nirvana. Ran this strain 3 years ago with great results.
