WTF is this doing in the Strains and Hybrids section...and a video at that?

Anyway Marshall Tucker was the first concert I ever went to back in like '76 or something like that.

One of the best real bands of the 70s and 80s. Nobody had the talent to write, sing and play guitar like Toy did. 45 was way to young for his candle to burn out.

MT is rad
I was playing my dad a new tune I was writing and he starts laughing...
he says "thats marshall tucker band boy! I was blasting that record in the house when you were just crawling".
I said "nah pops really?"
so he takes me to tower records we get the album and play "cant you see"....

first thing I say is "fuck that sucks" cause its a good riff hahaha wouldve been nice to have been able to do something with it hahaha

but then i thought about how the music we hear interacts with us subconsciously in our lives. apparently from when we're wee little folks even hahaha

LOL! Did you ever listen to Pure Prairie League? Saw them early on too and pretty cool. Their 'Bustin Out' album was one of the first I ever listened to.

Little Feat: Don't bogart that joint my friend, pass it over to me
Poco goes in along with Pure Prarie League, hell Vince Gill even played in Pure Prarie League. Timothy Schmitt of the Eagles spent time with Poco.
I believe Little Feat visits Negril Jamaica every February or March and stays on Bloody Beach. Love that music from that time. Good herb was around then too.
