its not the resin its the leaves that are measured for light reflection which is measured for detection(outdoors + plant colour standing out a mile away), the guards are not going to look for plants outdoors,return on resources used would be terrible.

Highly unlikely.....

The cops can barely spot the heat sig. from a Viet grow house from the chopper let alone a few outdoor plants.

The Garda chopper is only called out if needed and there is no way they are out flying around trying to pick up outdoor grows thats just media fueled fantasy.

Apart from operation nitrogen the cops over here dont seek out grows actively unless they are informed.

Welcome on board D-RON, I have to politely disagree with ya. The FLIR cameras pick up on the radiant heat, all of the heat that is produced from the cannabis grow room heats up the house and is clearly visible to the very sensitive cameras, an example would be where the cops raided a house in England only to discover that the extra heat in her attic was due to the lady having her attic door open.

It is generally accepted that the resin glands are for defencive purposes, protecting the plant from UV light, bugs ect and they also act to grab male pollen from the air so fertilization can begin. We don't know all the ins and outs so we can only guess the physiological functioning of the resin gland's, but just because we theorise doesn't mean that we are incorrect.

HGO,readin back over what i wrote first i see that of course the FLIR must pick up on the the heat from the lamps as thats what there made for.thanks for the heads up,and ya i never heard or thought about the male pollen sticking to the resin before,this plant has so many amazing qualities and applications.

on a side note can i post pictures of an outdoor shed grow for the outdoor growers comp or is that considered indoor?

Post 'em up man, the more the merrier Hope your enjoying the sunshine! Yes that is one job of the resin but fertilization will only happen when the pollen is caught by the pistils.

hahahah what way are you disposing of this pesky resin? A large amount of it in your house might be mistaken for a HID lamp and bring the federales running.
