Creating a Pool

I am in the middle of picking out strains to begin breeding with and was looking for some imput from some fellow growers. So far my list looks like this: Beanho mango1xmango haze, rez cdsd and sssdh, dutchgrown dieselrella, dtc 99 f2, grape sorbe, laughing tiger and thai dragon, mandala satori and beyond the brain, cannacopia chuck d, legends jonny blaze, moscanegra machacar, tga apollo 13 bx, pandoras box and plushberry.

I want a strain for each type: a great creative high, one thats a devistatingly potent sativa, a meditative high, an exotic fruity one, a trippy (not too paranoid) high, a energetic get up and go high and a rank smelly one.

If you have grown any of these strains I would love to hear your imput on them and any similar strains that I have not named would be appriciated.

Sounds like a lot of what's already out there flooding the scene. Take a bunch of poly-hybrids and cross them all together, yah!

Now, from that list I would say that JonnyBlaze is one to really work on just to keep it around. I read that the parents of this cross are gone. I say that DG seeds are going to be winners based on everything I read from them... she will be who I get my next order from this summer.

I will also say that if you're trying to get something unique, you should start with Ace and CannaBioGen.

No worries, I see where your coming from but what I figured was if I got a ten pack from each I would be able to have a much wider range of phenotypes to pick from. Im not expecting multiple keepers out of every pack, so I figure I can try all of them the first time around to see what I like and reveg, instead of just taking everybodys word for it.

I dont plan on breeding all of these, just seeing what fits my criteria by growing all of them out and personaly smoking them. I picked so many cindy, thai and diesel hybrids is because I want to have a wide variety to find the best of them.

Just looking for peoples opinion on what they think meet that criteria. I have looked threw so many threads and some of the strains I have picked have very small amounts of information on them and most of them dont have good smoke reports. Its hard to go about picking strains when you are just looking for legit descriptions of the highs and phenotypes.

Im not trying to be a seed distributer or anything, just want to have personal strains that I can keep for the years to come and have a large seed stock of crosses to fuck around with.

I would skip over Mandala satori, just because it has some really shitty phenos. I had one last grow, worst plant I have ever had, shwag of the highest order.

If you want a superior a clear thought provoking high seek out apollo 11. Apollo 11 smokes like a dream, smooth, excellent bag appeal, grapefruity smell and taste. Best way I can describe the high is to say enlightened. It is good mood, at total peace with the world kind of herb, it is also very thought provoking. I like to save A11 for smoking when Im deep in the woods, its awesome weed for hiking, it just makes everything better.

i would Ace or Cannabiogen strains as my breeding tools..maybe some BOG and Rez strains for good measure..just my 2cents

I dont think I would be able to get ahold of apollo 11 but ive heard apollo 13bx from tga is great. Are there any good crosses on the bay or boutique?

Good. It seems like you have your things in order.

I too would skip satori. Even tho I grew her for a year +, she can easily be replaced with Panama from CBG/Ace. Better & more unique smells, pretty good yeild and better bag appeal. IMO.

JoeyW does a11 f2 that would be your BEST option unless REZ does some, then you can get them at the BOO and support GN.

I would also add that if you did an open pollination of all the best fems & males and when crazy with the seeds that came from THAT. Then do selections from those. IDK. just a thought

Thanks, I wonder if the beyond the brain is any good.... its a satori cross, I just really like the sounds of satori purley for how clear and creative of a high it sounds like. Finding a good creative high is on the top of my list so any suggestions on that would be great.
