I'm no hip hop critic but that's pretty good stuff. Mostly when it comes to hip hop I only listen to the Beasty Boys and some of the older stuff like k.c. and the sunshine band and sugar hill. I really dig rappers delight.
Unfortunately the past in me can relate to the hardcore rap, packing heat, taking care of business. I keep that side of myself buried as deep as I can, but it's not easy when people start giving me problems.

We need more music like your crew is doing, the more we can spread peace and understanding the better off our children will be. We're leaving this world to them one day, we should try to make it as good as we can while we're still here.

^yea i met those guys in the studio in san francisco...i didnt really know who was who but they were all real chill and laid back...smoked them out on some chem4 they were lovin it....i forget the actual dude from heiro he has dreadlocks and does some solo shows with equipto and mike meezy...

Del is sick but I think No need for alarm is his best album ever. I honestly dont think he will ever top that. As far as bay Underground goes lots of sick shit out the bay. Casual, Grouch, Mystic Journeymen, Eligh, The Coup, (Charizma R.I.P.) just to name a few. Latley i have been bumpin hella Statik selektah tracks and Ski Beat tracks. Termonolgy's new 1982 album is saucey! But Brother Ali is dope, Immortal tech, Curren$y, Talib, Mos, r dope too. Yer Boy should get at my my buddy. He is a producer in Nor Cal. He has done tracks for the grouch & eli, Mos Def, Doey Rock, MC eight, Brotha Lynch, CBO Etc. Check him out, He did No more greener grasses, He did true magic by mos def too...

i've been listening to a boatload of jedi mind tricks lately. alot of people dont like them because of vinnie paz comes off as a mad violent muslim homophobe. but stoupe the enemy of mankind is one of the best producers i've ever heard.

Thanks for the positive vibes, it's all good baby baby.

But why do all those modern djs have to use wild samples like that? It sounds like a jet plane's taking off in the studio during the first two tracks.. more like an action movie soundtrack than music, full bore special effects.
Love track 4's intro it reminds me of some afro music from the 70's with an indian influence, very mellow.
