As a young person, I'm not much for generational solidarity. But enough is enough. This generation is, dare I say cautiously, a bit inspiring on the civil liberties front. It's the completely nonsensical passive stupidity of the parental generation and older that holds this nation in a grip of totalitarianism.

if you told my kids i was nonsensical or passive they would laugh their asses off. just so you know every kid thinks parents are stupid. many people have raged against this machine for many generations, without them it would be much worse. if your generation could get enough of you together at one time you could get some changes made. unfortunately that is much easier said than done.

back in the day under cover cops infiltrated radical groups to take them down. now they just monitor what is said on the web. just because 1 million people think something does not mean 500 or so don't need to get their asses in the street and do something about it. no action no progress.

The current generation are a bunch of hypnotized droids. They know nothing about history, world or American. They know more about who's banging who on "Jersey Shore" than they do about their own history.They spend more time watching TV/movies and playing video games than anything else. They don't read books. They do nothing to protest the many outrages that are being perpetrated by corporate America and the government. Do you think they would have the balls to take to the streets and close down universities across the country to stop the Vietnam war, like we did? No!
