FYI: I'm running a pc cab with 1 80mm intake and 1 80mm exhaust. Only 2 14 watt daylight CFLs(veg/mother/clone cab)
This has happened a couple times in the last few weeks. After thorough searching, I thought I finally got it figured out and thought it was damping off.
It happened to me again yesterday around noon when I added a third 14watt and raised the little guys/girls to around 4 inches below the bulbs. Around 5pm, I checked them and they weren't looking so hot. I thought maybe the roots needed some oxygen, so I squeezed the bottoms of the cups a little to break up the soil. I also removed the added bulb, and brought them down to normal height. This morning, they looked like the pictures above, but the soil was dry(so I watered them). Anyway, I've tried this with coco, and now a mixture of local clay soil(30%) and some commercial potting mix. Both times I encountered this.
As I write this , it looks like the leaves have gone back down to a normal state, so I think they may be salvageable (thank god).
Just trying to dial in my cab so I won't lose any mom(s) or clones I have going. Any help with diagnosing the problem is much appreciated. Thanks.
