It's people like us who praise these things on the forums then post pix of buds grown with it that causes that issue. Then you get every kid in town who wants "buds like that" asking where he can get it. Joe hydro-store responds as the capitalist without mercy and probably the only guy in town who has it and rakes you through the coals.
Check hardware stores and regular garden centers, they often carry Neptune's products.

Actually the markup is more...
16.99 36oz

Store
18.95 18 oz

Store
37.90 36oz
-16.99

=20.91 profit/~quart over comparable retail...Not even talking their wholesale price here.

The 'Garden Centers' are actually more expensive for what I buy than the 'Hydro Stores'...Must be the competition and bulk discounting.

i was just at the hydro store the other day gettin blumat supplies and i always browse the nute section just a'shakin my head and tisk tisking to myself -- feelin sorry for all the suckers out there.

they had a pint jar of some organic whatever molasses for $11.

i just bought 5 gallons of molasses at the feed store for $15.

so many suckers out there...

I'd have to say the hydro shop by me must be a rare gem he buys the same molasses the feed store has. He has 55 gallon drum an sells 5 gallons to me for 15ish. He also carries a small selection of organic bottled nutes like earth juice an neptunes and bags of alpha, guano, castings, and but he actually grows organically himself. He doesn't have it all but it's more than most.

keep your eyes open when purchasing feed grade molasses
got some bunk molasses not to long ago from the feed store
mind was pretty hazey when i threw cash @ the product and forget to check & ask, if it was black strap unsulfured molasses;just asked for feed grade..
i get home and open this 5 gal jar up to some pretty weird smelling shit,i know what good molasses smells like;this was something else
(personally wouldnt even feed it to live stock)

i checked the label's fine print,to find out it has a bunch of sulfur in it and vegetable oil?....any who, gave that away

sticking with smart & final's good old grandma molasses for fair prices

should do side by side images of products like peatmoss, coir, perlite, vermiculite:from them hydro sharks and products purchased for the same price from landscape supply centers

mine is plain ol molasses. but good point to check, same goes for alfalfa pellets, some have extra "minerals" for the horses. which = salts.
