i have an intriguing question to ask for some of the experienced extraction peeps. i've been reading up a lot on water curing nugs. this mainly interests me for the aspects of having a "healthier" and "stealthier" smoke. obviously nugs for sale won't be water cured. anyway, i was thinking that maybe water curing trim delicately in room temp water may leach out the chlorypyl and other water soluble contamintents that may present themselves in iso wash. obviously you may lose some trichs in the water cure but could this present a purer wash with maybe a little less yield???

sounds like a waste when you can just do a double wash.

a waste because of potential loss of trichs?? double wash as in rewash the "tar" gained from the first wash?? from what i can tell, the water cure people claim that the process is pretty subtle as far as disturbing trichs but i'm not sure as i've never done it. seems like this is worth a try. i may give it a whirl in a couple of months ...

A water cure loses a negligible amount of trichs in my experiences. You will however lose some mass/weight of your final dried buds. I do this shit all of the time with mexi-brick that sucks beyond suckness and it makes it halfway decent. (Smooth as all get out)

Ive never made oil from this process though.
