Id recommend west cork/Kerry area. Plenty of places to grow indoor and out and its common knowledge whats going on.
Just don't buy weed off people to be honest. If your American your probably lucky enough to have never seen grit, so be very weary.

Not saying you don't know your shit but I know of some people who still get caught by it and they've been seeing the crap for years and unless you make the hash yourself be doubly skeptical of it.
