What's new

Pakistan Chitral Kush

Do your packs usually contain 10, or do you throw in a couple extra? I'm waiting on an order of pck fems from Feb 25th and got my order of 2 pack of reg PCKs today and I got a couple extra, and I thank you very much for what I got. I was kinda shocked when I finally looked at the seeds..

Hammerhead....

Could you explain the reason for this? When did this happen? Why are you reporting this and not Dubi and Charlie?

This is too weird to not explain further...

Kaiki reported this months ago. We dont need to go into why. You can ask Dubi he should confirm.

Oh, my mistake. I thought this was brand new news, but it was old news. I don't have any interest in putting my nose in their business anyway.

Some kinda weather we're having, eh?

Hi Wiggs Dannyboy,

Honestly, i like both: overpowering and mild strains, depending on the moment ... but my main concern is quality of the high ... you can easily get very high smoking more but quality is totally different.

Cannabiogen is going to release more PCK in the close future :)

So true, there are a plethora of potent/very potent strains out there, but those special "kind" high varieties seem more rare than ever...

maybe it has something to do with people picking to early as well, but there are some interesting nuances to be found in oldschool strains which may not have the potency of modern hybrids. chemdog and a good bluberry will exhibit both potency and that somthing special, golden goat too so they are out there. I need some PCK!

Would PCK fall into the "heavy" indica-effect category? I don't want to breed with a heavy hitter and dull down my sativas.

I remember hearing about the breeding out of a male 100% indica like PCK to a female sativa will result in more of a indica type structure and lower flower times. A indica female to a sativa male might give more of the sativa structure and body, keeping flower times up and possibly increasing yields and adding hybrid vigor depending on how much sativa is in your cross. 100% sativas might be better suited to cross to a quicker finishing sativa, then to a full indica for a little more of a manageable cross as many PCK males to 100% sativas cut the finish time down from 16-20weeks to 8-10 like the Old Timer's Purple Haze x PCK male. If you want to keep CBDs down, don't cross to 100% indica kushes for sativa dom phenos.

Hello Campfire,

Nope, PCK wont fall into heavy narcotic indica category, high is pleasant relaxed but motivating and happy at same time. That's why PCK is great indica line to breed with sativas, PCK adds earliness, outdoor resistance, colors, resin production, aromas ... but the high remains up and clear.

High,

That statement is generally true: sativa female x indica male hybrids are usually shorter, denser and faster to flower than indica female x sativa male hybrids, but it also depends on the dominances and recessive traits of the strains you are working with, for example, straight deep chunk hybrids are usually very deep chunk dominant in structure and flower appearance, even when deep chunk is the mother of the cross and the sativa strain is the father.

I think we will have the chance to do cannabinoid analysis this year, my guess is that PCK wont show high CBD ratios.

Yeah ;) We usually add 1-2 extra seeds in every standard or fem pack.

I see people taliknig about the purple a lot. Isn't the green supposed to be heavier? I remember seeing an article by a Brittish Dr who mention apreciable levels of THCV in Pakistani indicas. Would be interesting to know if that is true of this one.

Hello treewizard,

The best green PCK plants are a bit more powerful than the purple ones, but it's not easy to find a very good green PCK mum, they are less frequent, you need to grow a few dozens to find desired green mum. On the other hand, it's very easy to find high quality purple mums. Both phenos are very interesting, with different kind of tastes. Usually people is looking for the purple-pink expressions because the spectacular colors and the blackberry-strawberry aromas.

Yeah..but I want both! F2's it is. This one is chalked up to run soon. Hopefully my luck with finding phenos won't run out and I will get lucky the 1st go but either way there's no room to bitch.
