A question on tincture: Does regular use of tincture give one a higher tolerance to cannabis in general? I´ve found a dose that is really effective but I now find that smoking doesn´t really do much for me anymore. Anyone else had the same experience?

How time passes..

How time passes..

I smoke over fifteen years, I do not smoke tobacco.
Since then, I always wanted to grow and had no idea or Internet to learn from.
I used to sprout seeds with hope ...
I grew a plant under normal light, I tried to smoke the flowers when I did not know that he actually mail (it reminded me some stories about men who visited in Thailand)
I was thirsty for any information I can get on the plant and how to grow it, I only heard stories about.
And finally - the Internet Age. And with it, the Hydro and equipment stores.
I'm not a heavy smoker, a little before going to sleep, sometimes long before going to sleep .. But not all day.
I used to mix tobacco until I came to Amsterdam, then I learned that nicotine is highly addictive and completely unnecessary. Since, I am also smoking less.

these pics are just before I started flowering them. Now they;re twice as big as they are here. Just go to my photo album and you'll drool. This weed is awesome for pain, sleep, and appetite. Hey, I grow in dirt and love it. Dose just fine for me. I had an oringinal phototron. It worked ok but I get more growing in dirt.

I wish I had more space for an inside grow, I did two, the second an extension of the first, but since I´m an outdoor grower and I´m only able to use AF´s and light sensitive strains cause I live on the North Pole -I shit you not it´s very close ;)

And it´s spring and I can´t wait to get started!

I planted seeds outdoors in 70's and 80's, never managed to harvest anything tho...bugs, lack of water, rippers, animals. I did get little pot plants to start, does that count as growing? I restarted last year after I got med card and will have 3 grows done after this one is finished. I would never grow illegal at this point in life.

I still smoke some, but have turned to tincture the last year or so. I am a carpenter and am getting too old for this shit; sore, beat up, my hands are a mess, back hurts, the whole aging gracefully thing. I find that tincture is WAY more effective in combating pain and aching bones. If I tinc in the morning, lunch and the ride home, by the time I am folding up and fading away I have no trouble sleeping. Tinc is cumulative. The morning hit just sands the edges off. The afternoon hit adds a bit to help me see the end of the workday. The last hit is setup for bye bye. The most important thing is that I get to bypass the confusion and anxiety of the ten or twenty minutes just after smoking when I would be wondering what I was doing and where my tools are. Tincture is a milder come on, but a longer run, without confusion. Also the autos I run to make the tinc have such a different cannbinoid profile I am convinced they are more therapeutic for pain. Half a dropper per dose and all is well. Just remember you have to decarb for the tinc to be effective.

Since the mid-60s for me. So since then through just now comes out to ..... a long time.
Grower for 3 years. Is it possible that it is even more fun to grow than to use? Hope to think about that for ..... a long time.
While only growing for 3 years, I had bought High Times on a fairly regular irregular basis. Would this count for anything? Living large, love this site and learning a lot.
Here are three things I have learned from almost all the grower threads:
I need more light;
I need more room;
I think I know what I did wrong last time!
Spread the Love,
Namaste

i have been smoking for ever but only growing for three years. forty days into this round of flower - and this is may be my first trouble free run ( mites, pm, equipment failure, etc.)!! i grow out seed packs to find the choice pheno - just can't bring myself to spending four months with a clone of dubious descent (i am the only grower i know)

i have a lot to learn, but i'm real happy with the results. i tried to smoke some weed from a center recently and that's the last time i waste $ on that.

i had a phototron experience back in 1990 that didn't work out so well. it only made me want to grow even more. now my life is such that i have two little rooms that produce the best pot i have ever smoked.

i hope it never ends.
