i use flora nova bloom in coco for certain things.

Using an x500 conversion, my tap water is about 100 and i normally dont use epsom.

here's what i feed different stages per gallon .
clones ~ 1/2 tsp
early veg ~ 1 tsp
bloom ~ 1.5 tsp (max dose)

A couple of things that i try to keep in mind:

1. A little goes a long way (application one full dose can sometimes catch up a plant ime)
2. Some strains can really consume amount during stretch
3. Ive found with the thick FN bloom, a weekly feeding of 200 ppm nutes helps prevent salt buildup (although it seems drip clean takes care of this too)

HawiianRock, I think you're confused.
Lucas formula using Gh's Flora series uses the micro (8 ml/gal) and bloom (16 ml/gal).
Lucas formula using Gh's Floranova series uses the FloraNova bloom only (8 ml/gal)~no micro involved.

FloraNova bloom is almost exactly the Lucas formula.

evlme is right.

FloraNova is 1 part. According to the label, it's 1 EC per teaspoon in pure water.

Flora lucas is two-part, micro and bloom. (add micro to water first) Depends on which strength you choose...

8/16 - original?

5/10 - less than 600 watts HID

6/9 - Rezcipe

6/10 - h3ad

etc

and should i be adding epsom salts every time...at what rate? what is a good overall EC?
IMO, get your pH dialed-in first. If you're able, familiarize yourself with your base before adding anything else. Then you'll better know what the culprit is should you have problems later.

Generally, Epsom salts is ~1 teaspoon per gallon of water.

A good overall EC is strain and environment dependent. Somebody already mentioned start slow and adjust accordingly. If you're past seedling stage, 1/2 strength base nutes will work in most cases. As the plants get bigger you can feed more. Back off if you get tip-burn from overfeeding. You'll also have to keep an eye in build-up in your medium.

Sometimes dialing in a particular strain is as easy as growing it the second time around.

ime...1.8 to 2.4 has worked fine on more than a couple strains...
never found gh nutes to need anything ...just raise ec if problem shows up
