clone assassin needs help

I used to be good at this... 100%, until last years outdoor.

Now i seem to be the black plague of death on clones.

I took clones on the 10th of the month. into jiffy pots tray with the peat pots expanded by thrive alived water.

10 days later, i cannot take the dome off as the clones go limp. I was under the impression that after 4-5 days i could remove the dome.

no roots yet, but it has been 10 days. If they arent drooping and the dome is on they look like the most beautiful clones ever...

I have killed so many clones lately it makes me sick to the stomach thinking about it. I follow directions well!

any thoughts?

my fear with the dome being on for so long is mould.

I removed 1 clone to see, and upon removing from cube, does not show any evidence of rooting taking place... in 10 days...

sounds like there doing OK, just need to give them some more time with the dome on. is it a new strain or one you've cloned before that rooted faster.

i aero clone, i find it to be a lot easier then any other way of cloning. i don't even need to trim the leaves or mist them, i just cut the clones then place them in my ez cloner and they start to show roots in a round 4 days.

good luck, just keep at it and they'll root up.

How close are your lights to the dome?

I found my clones were taking a long time when I had my CFL's too close. I raised them up about 2 feet above the dome and it seemed to help a lot.

Also if the humidity inside the dome is excessive, and if you can easily raise your room humidity, I would try loosing the dome. Seems to me if you are trying to force roots then you would want the main water source coming from the medium, not excessive humidity. It may help with the transpiration process.

Good luck. For something that should be so easy I feel your frustration when its doesn't work out.

I get great results with rapid rooters, I tried peat pellets once and got maybe 2 out of 20 to root.

I had a terrible case of blackthumb when it came to babies until I got my ezcloner.
Now it's more like a beige thumb, but I've got numbers on my side.
