First Vert grow~~All Organic 2kw

Dialing this room for future grows will increase your yields a lot. Some of the best stadium grows I've seen on here were in rooms sized similar to yours. I'd think about running 3 levels to a side and max your plant numbers. That space could use more light (4K) as DHF said. The plants may fit inside 6 1/2 X 7 but you're not containing the light to that area... it's covering the entire room instead of just the area you mention.

You have the space and look to have the talent to grow well so let's get her dialed. Take a look at whodares setup....he's rocking it.

Thanks Maj.
And thanks forkup for the advice. I have realized i do need more light but I only have 2 20 amp breakers for this room. I Might be able to pull of 2 more 600's in there at most. This run and the next wont be dialed runs for sure. Also I can only have 30 plants so I need to do bigger plants. Im thinkin 20 plants in 5g pots with 2 levels. But I gotta figure out which strains im gonna be keeping first. I want only 2 strains max.

everything is looking very healthy, good job.

the room looks like its going to be packed, are you going to be doing any defoliating?

thanks Yourcorpse. I have been keeping the left side pretty well trimmed taking off anything thats not in direct light pretty much. but the right side I cant get to the plants so easily so ive been stalling on that side lol. Im new to this so Im also trying to not take TOO much off. Any suggestions on the defoilating process and how much to take off? I dont think the plants are going to stretch too much more, the skunk #1 is done stretching for sure.

Tonight im going to see how much panda plastic i got laying around to see if I can make the space their in smaller somehow to reflect the wasted light back at the plants.

well seeing as how im new to vert also i can only go off the info i have read in this forum, and most people seem to cut off any fan that is blocking a budsite, not all at once but throughout grow. i think after stretch is preferable for heavy pruning.

maybe someone else can chime in. but that is the way im going to be doing it. the plants seem to bounce back after it.

check out aerohead's first attempt at vertical https://www.icmag.com/ic/showthread.php?t=197502&page=42
if you read through the whole thread you will see how bushy his girls are and after some heavy trimming they still came out with an awesome yield.

I dont use nutes I use things like alfafa meal, kelp meal, azomite..organic materials. the plants take what they need and leave the rest for later. you could be over feeding. or there are other nutrients such as magnesium that can cause yellowing.

Found some tiny bananas on the Kannibia special, but its only on one branch which was way to close to the light, so I think its from heat stress. watching her very very closely. also found bananas on the DP blueberry..they are all still super tiny and hardly visible to the naked eye, but Ive been watching these 3 new strains real close. I think the BB is gonna go nuts with bananas, well thats what it looks like to me. I can move her to another location, along with the Kannibia special if she gets worse. its a bummer but good thing its only 2 plants. the DP orange bud has no naners as of now, but we'll see. she is very very stinky already so im hopin she turns out good!

the less nutrients the better, ive always found lighter mixes to work the best.

using too much nitrogen will make your plants yellow or grow in a mutant fashion. especially during flowering should be more careful with nitrogen uptake.
