I am using open lines so they don't clog. My pump pumps too hard! Only have to have the pump run for less than a minute. I need to get a timer where I can only have it come on for 30-45 second.

The pump is 396GPH I believe. I can't remember but i know it is above 356. It is a manifold with 44 feeders. It works great though! I didnt think it was getting everything in the pot, but if you dig down an 1/8th of an inch it is moist everywhere :) Not bad for a cheap quickly built top feed.

nahhh definately not bad for 44!!! sites!....i got 10 sites and was using inline drippers on the same GPH pump as you and the fuckers would clog after like 2 weeks....sooo annoying...now i switched to end piece drippers and they are doing a lot better....no more clogging....

you should put end line like 1 or 2 GPH drippers at the end of those lines....i say this because then you can get the true benefits of dripping in coco....i believe you still get even distribution with your set up...no problems in my opinion...but you can improve it with these end line drippers.....once you have them it will slow down your flow rate...
ex. letting you drip for 10 min early in the day.....let a couple hours go by, it evenly distrubutes throughly throughout the coco.....drip 5 min later on.....couple hours pass....drip 10 min.....idk man...hopefully u understand what im getting at....just rambling on over here.....but take it easy boss man

Dude, that is a great idea! I am gonna try and get a whole bunch of drippers. I would like about 8 gallons used per 12 hour cycle. I however can't find anything more than 1 gph. :/

I am now 14 days into flower. Everything is looking good except one thing I have had a problem with since day 1. I am afraid it is some sort of virus, but more than likely it is a genetic mutation.

Here is what the mutations look like. Seems like it doesn't affect the plant really. It is just some random leaves that have been doing it. I think it is from the hotspot my reflectors create.

Did some work today! Got some more to do tomorrow. I took 108 clones of the right side and defoliated a bit so I get light and air flow. The right side i just lightly defoliated and will take about another 100 clones off of tomorrow. Right now the growth is reminding me of the Chemdawg 91. The brances are strong and the stretch is a lot greater in the 2nd week of flowering than it is in the 1st. Anyways, here are the pics. Little knots are popping up all over and smelling magnificent!

What's up with the carbon filter hooked up to the lights? So the exhaust air doesnt stink from the lights? Just curious how you vent the tent like that. Lookin great though bro! Erkle x SD, sounds great! I just got Purple Diesel x Lambsbreath... what amazing smoke

Pretty much the air in the tent gets sucked through the carbon filter, through the lights to cool them off and out the tent and through the roof directly above the tent. All hot smelly air gets exhausted into the attic space where it dissipates and leaves the house.

that makes sense. For some reason i couldnt put 2 and 2 together, like i'm a stoner or something... lol anyway how does that work for you? I need to start aircooling my hoods and such but cant really afford another fan. Is it an eficient way to vent your room and cool your 1000's?

It is perfect in the spring and fall. I will have to add a portable AC unit soon because on those 85 degree days it gets hot in there. It definitely cools things down by about 10 degrees though. I have to run 2 oscillating fans and that 6 inch to keep my room under control. Then again, when it starts heating up the room it is in has central heating and air so the house AC should keep it cool when I start running it.

I need to just start taking macro shots now so that is why there are a lack of photos. Gotta use my ladies camera and her macro lens. Buds are formed everywhere though. The plants stopped their stretch right at the limit! Right now at day 21 there are 1/2 inch buds everywhere. Kind of a slow starter imo and I don't think the yield will be amazing, but I think it will be respectable with some top notch fire!

I have made some changes to my nute program. Right now it goes like this in 30 gallons of water:

230ml Canna Coco A
240ml Canna Coco B
200ml Botanicare Sweet raw(flora nectar was stinking up my reservoir)
200ml Botanicare Cal/Mg+(starting to lower it slightly)
half dose of Botanicare Hydroplex
half dose of H&G Bud XL

Sitting at 1050-1100ppms with a pH that goes from 5.7-6.1. I have the air pump on a timer or else the drift goes to 6.8. Right now I seem to be getting this system dialed in. I haven't seen temps passed 80 in a long time as well. Hopefully I can get away with no AC this run.

They seem to be liking it. Its seemed like they were taking forever to get pre flowers so I gave em a boost. They probably don't need half the shit they are getting, but they are happy, stinky, and starting to frost up.

I also have a little breeding project happening. Those purple trash clones I put outside started budding so I am going to hit them with some Super Silver Diesel Haze pollen and try to get some seeds to pop late season. I will take pics soon.

ohhh im sooo interested in the pH of your starting water and how long you keep your pump on a timer for....ive had the same problem of huge upswings 8-9 in my one case where i used an airpump, and thats (around) what the starting water is sadly.....

Really? I have heard of a few people having problems with pictures in other threads. I haven't posted any pics in a week, but the ones I posted should be there.

My starting pH is about 6.8 @ 100ppms. After I add everything it stays around the same. Well it did, now with the Hydroplex and budXL it drops to about 6.5. After that I add some Mad Farmer pH Down. I get it to 5.6-5.8 and by the next reservoir change it will be at around 6.1. I have the air pump timed for 1 hour 4X's a day. My res is always clean and doesn't smell now.

I will see what is up with the pictures.

Maybe you can see those pictures. The leaves came back with a vengeance after the clones were taken and the defoliation. I just defoliated them again, but not as heavily. I will have pictures of the little buds within a couple days.

These were taken over a week ago I believe. I think last Friday. Not sure.
