Montana MMJ Laws SAFE, for now...

What a novel concept! Do you think it will catch on?

An elective representative in an executive position actually defending the will of the people over the agenda of the whore-ocrats.

In case you can't read, it is actually a "Grand Ole Party" backed measure that Schweitzer blocked, HE is the so-called 'whore-ocrat'

Humm....who would've thunk.

While were on prefixes and suffixes...lets get something straight..
A little English lesson for anybody who can't put two and two together...

Democra-t base word DEMOCRACY
Democracy: is a form of government in which all citizens have an equal say in the decisions that affect their lives.

Republic-an base word REPUBLIC
Republic: is a form of government in which the people, or some portion of them, retain supreme control over the government.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Republic#cite_note-0The term is generally also understood to describe a government where most decisions are made with reference to established laws...

The only thing is, this 'portion' is now instead just an elitist minority...ruled by big business...who trick the majority into thinking that they are somehow 'defending our Constitution'.. something that is FALSE. (IE propaganda...or now-a-days "Public Relations" Google: Edward Bernays)

Do you want a supportive gov't. that thinks for itself.... or a repressive gov't. that plays follow the precedent?

THAT is for you to decide. I'm not saying Democrats are the answer, just possibly part of a solution. Republicans OBVIOUSLY aren't cut out for the job... (G.W. Bush???)

Do your homework, decide for yourself.

All of 'em lie. All of 'em cheat.

Schweitzer (gov) wants "reform" so. Will he accept this 423 repeal in sheeps clothing, ammend it, or shit can it. That is the Question. It has impact all over the Country. Other MMJ states are watching.

423 moves on, and will be going to the Gov, no doubt. 3 patients/caregiver, local police informed, no money, 15 referrals/doc before investigations begin. If you are not on board, you must turn in all your meds on July 1 to the Piggery. No shops, or other related businesses. This will do wonders for jobs--what the baggers say they are there for. Repeal with a smiley face is on the way.

Big pharma is spending lots of money right now buying off politicians. More people using MJ means less money in their pockets.

Well pretty much Game Over. Repeal in Sheeps Clothing went thru conference after accepting a few cosmetic changes. still only 3 patients per caregiver, no money involved, 15 recommeds from docs without the narcs investigating. The Governor said last night he would "hold his nose" and let it become law. thanks for having the decency to hold your fucking nose while fucking all over Governor.
There are at least remedies being discussed chiefly a petition to get on the ballot to overturn the law. We'll see.
Also read that Gov Gregoire in WA vetoed legalizing dispensaries there after the strong arm of the DEA was put on. The Nazis are not going quietly into that Good Night

Yes, unfortunately, MMJ in Montana is essentially at an end. Doctors will not want to risk recommending it, growers will not want to put up with regular, unannounced LE inspections for the privilege of spending their own money and time to grow and give away free MMJ to patients who may, in turn, decide to take the free stuff and make an easy profit on their own. All of the new grow shops will go out of business, many commercial properties will be added to the already long list of vacancies. Contractors and electricians who have been getting by doing work for MMJ growers will be out of work altogether. Those who invested thousands of their own money are SOL and those directly employed in the business will be added to the already extensive unemployment rolls. The really sick who need medicine and cannot grow their own (we all know how cheap and easy it is) will simply have to turn to the black market or lump it. Gotta love those self-righteous, bible-thumping conservative Republicans in the state legislature. Their allegiance to the prison, pharmaceutical, and alcohol lobbies is quite revolting.

I AM A LARGE CARE-GIVER, IT LOOKS BAD ON THIS END,, WE HAVE SPENT THE THOUSANDS YOU SPEAK OF,,,, IF ITS TO BE WAR THEN WAR MIGHT BE WHAT THEY FINALLY GET.... :moon:

Right now, petitions ARE being readied legally for submission to the Secretary of State. Something along the lines of 25,000 signatures will be needed ASAP squared to freeze 423 and prevent implementation with a fall vote. So everything is not necessarily lost. Everyone needs to alert all the patients, friends of patients, all caregivers and dispensaries, everyone else who cares to GET READY TO SIGN PETITIONS when they come out!! It should be quite soon.
