Three-Legged male?

Has anyone ever encountered a triple-node plant? I am speaking of a male Hashberry. Would this be a superior male for breeding?

That is what we all think the first time we see this common mutation. Most tri's are worthless, but occasionally one will be worth using, rarely.

You have what is known as a tri-foliate, or whorled phyllotaxy. It is interesting, but that's it. Female tri-foliates exist, but they do not yield better, nor are they more potent. I've never had a female, but have had several males. Nice conversation piece, but nothing special.

i had a tri foliate fem of bubble dust, extremely potent, great taste but low on yield which is fine by me. :)

They always revert to a regular phylotaxy by the 5th or 6th node. The trait in itself isn't a good or bad thing.... it's just a thing.

Just flowering out the first tri girl I've had in my grow.....As WelderDan said, nice conversation piece, but I'm not holding my breath for anything spectacular.

I have one in my grow now:

This is 40AmpsToFreedom's Satellite Fuel strain. This one is one of the four best looking males. I'm interested to see what comes out of its crosses.

I got a pack of cloud 9 seeds from harborside that spouted one. Its only a seedling now. I don't have much hope for it but what ever its cool
