Had to put my little buddy down today. It was definitely for the best. He'd been going down hill since last fall, but took a sharp decline over the weekend.
Goodbye my furry friend. You brought love, joy and laughter into our home, & I'm glad I was here to help you die w/dignity.

Sorry for your loss vinter. This was Teddy.. had him since I was born and he lived till I was 22. My best friend. Been quite a few years since he passed, maybe he will show smokey joe and puddin'tane'd dog around. Animals have an innocence no human could ever know.....

I have been around for a long time...I have seen a lot of death mostly humans....It never really bothered me too much...A couple of yrs ago I lost my best friend,my awesome Akita dog...He died suddenly...it fucked me up real bad...we spent a lot of time together..I still think about him constantly....Maybe it says something about what i am,or what i have become...maybe not.Sorry to hear about your cat...RIP Smokey Joe!

I lost my best friend of 11yrs...last week....she was a rescue...cattle dog... & i never took her for granted, told her i loved her every day...

As the Norse legend say's....may we be re-united with our pets one day...so that we can cross over together....

I also have a jet black cat named smokey....and another little female that is named shadow.

They are only like 2-3 years old or so so they have a long road ahead but holy shit do I dread the day when they pass on.

My condolences man....
