First Hydro Grow - BLZ Bud and Super Lemon Haze

Well here we are at day 22 of 12/12.

The BLZ bud is the bushier one on the left, Super Lemon Haze on the right. They are being grown under a 400W hps and 96W of t5 fluoros (going to swap the 96w for another 400W HID in a few days).

Tubs are 3Gal rubbermaid, I am using GH Maxibloom and Floralicious @ 900PPM for the BLZ and 750PPm for the SLH....and I use a good squirt of 3% H2O2 twice a day. Also have a bag of dry koolbloom for the last 3 weeks.

next day. I ordered another 400w digital ballast so once it arrives each plant will have 400w. Also bought some liquid KoolBloom and Botanicare Silica Blast (silica blast to increase heat tolerance as I am adding another 400w to the closet, also bought another airpump so each 3L res has 7.8L/min pump). I also tied down some of the taller branches to even out the canopy and now I'm counting a lot of budsites

changed reservoirs. the tie down went well and it looks like my roots are doing well too I moved from hygrozyme to h2o2 and really like the difference. Res is a lot easier to clean now too.

Well now each plant has its own 400W HPS and they seem very happy

Day 43 of 12/12. I found fungus gnats and larvae in the top of my hydroton...so I took out a bunch of the hydroton and rinsed the top roots in a H2O2 solution and raised the water level as high as possible to drown any larvae.

Anyway things are still looking good other than a bit of nute burn at the tips. I'm also using 50/50 liquid/dry koolbloom now and plan to switch to 100% dry koolbloom at day 49 (week 7)

so.....a fail happened.

Without going into detail, basically I got scared and had to harvest the BLZ early, the SLH has had 1 day of high temps and no light or active aeration at roots but I think it will survive.

Anyway, all is good now other than having lost quite a lot of my yield from chopping early. Oh well.
