Spider Mites and New Seedling

I have a couple of potted plants going. One has a sprout that seems to be going strong, the other has a sprout that is barely popping out of the soil but is covered in what I believe are spider mites. You can only see them with a microscope and they are crawling all over it. I'm afraid to use any kind of insecticide being at this early stage. Should I just wait and see if it survives, or just throw it out?

if the bugs are there then they are everywhere, neem oil would be smart but be careful

ugggghhhh....that sucks. Cull the one with them everywhere. Then increase humidity...Spray a mixture of a small amount of dish washing soap and water....spray that all day. It slows them down....a lot. Then get some neem....make sure you spray everything, floor, pots, soil, etc

What you have to do is make sure the eggs are gone. ONE egg will start the cycle over again. So...kill the ones that are alive and then watch very closely...

predatory mites would probably do the trick at this stage .... your mite population is probably small enough that good bugs could kill all the bad bugs overnight ... may take a couple days to get them but check out naturescontrol.com
