If you're air-cooling I'd say 2k. If you have a light mover that would really open things up for you as well.

Lightmovers are not popular within growers, for a reason:

They are a MAJOR pain to operate, especially with aircooled hoods when sucking in the air from the outside and venting back outside.

Not worth the investment due to the hassle involved.

frenzy,it's about 10x8x8...small bedroom
2K min - 4K+
Might need to check up on the electrical threads, though. One would need extra power. Usually bedrooms only have one 15A 120V circuit each.

I had 2k over 12 square feet until I switched to LED. You can put a LOT more light in there and easily pay for the juice with extra yield.

info i got with my large adjusta-wing reflector with super spreader says 1k is good for an area of 8x71/2. i haven't tried this yet. perhaps others have more experience with this setup than i.

If all your growing is 4 plants 1K will be plenty. But you should have 2K if you wanted to fill the room with plants. Why such large pots? Awful big.

1 per smart pot...4 plants

Damn'.......I don't know how long you plan on vegging those but 15 Gallons per plant using smart pots is WAY overdoing it if you are not eyeballing vegging your plants to monsters.
When I say monsters I am talking about vegging them to 6' to 8' plants.

If you look @ my grow in my signature those plants vegged for 2 months, that's from the day the clone was taken 'till I switched to 12/12.
When I switched to 12/12 they were all about 30' tall. I just chopped them this last Saturday and I should yield about 3oz per plant.

Now...my post is not about me so here is why 15 Gallons per plant is way overdoing it:
You already know the advantages of Smart Pots
(no root bound plants) and if you do not veg your plants to the already mentioned 6' to 8' you are wasting resources hence growing medium. Your plants will not get to utilize what you put in to your smart pot if you veg them the common 2 or 3 months max everyone else does.

I am using 3 Gallon Smart Pots and if I had not as many as I do I would switch down to 2 Gallon ones.

i tie em down as soon as there is enough plant to lst..they are usually about 30 inches right before flowering..

i'd run 2k with the 15g pots and scrog the shit out of those 4 plants! veg for 2-4 months depending on strain and its stretch.
