I just added about 25 oz to a 35 gal rez, and it's all milky now. Is that normal?
So you are running about 1.4 tbsp per gal.
That should be a normal outcome.
I usually run 1 tbsp gal for spray, even less for systemic (res). Just don't run systemic too late, esp ripening. I prefer veg only for systemic Aza.

What do you guys mean by "systemic"? EDIT: Absorbed by plant tissue

Would you only use it in Veg?

It's hard to find info on people running a recirculating rez. Most info seems to be written for spraying.

If I can use less next time, then give me a heads up. Some were saying like 2 oz per gallon for heavy infestation. Man that's $200 bucks, but worth it if it gets rid of these guys. I don't know if those recommendations were for spray or a reservoir.

...

You already answered your own question: Once Imi has been absorbed it stays where it is.
Hence you use it once and that's it.

Common sense will tell you to use it when the plant has somewhat established itself meaning not when it is just a seedling.

I apply Imi when the plants are roughly around 10".
Of course you can use it earlier, it won't do any harm to do so.

Right now I'm thinking the medicine was worse than the disease.

Not only does this shit stink, but it made what was just normal bottom of the bucket, for lack of better term, "sludge", it is now a clingy, slimy gross looking mess. My PH with the stuff went from a solid 6.0, to an out of control 7.6, with PH down doing very very little to help.

Drained and re-filled the rez, and even what was left over made the rez stink and the PH out of control. There is crap floating everywhere. Everything is coated in an oily film.
I'm gonna try something else next time.

You know this is a spray, right?
You can also add it to your res to run systemically.
I dun it when I had Winged RA.

I don't run more than 1tbsp/gal for systemic or spray, usually less.
I don't spray later than week 2 or 3, depending on bud development.
I don't use systemically past transition, 'cept once when I had the Winged RA at week 3. (Actually hardly ever use systemically)

Then magic is in the prolonged starvation effect of the population.
It is not going to kill anything right away.
